Q1 is a multiple select question.Once the question is answered, I want that question and it’s responses to remain on the screen as a reference for the questions ahead, without the respondent being able to change the initial response.I tried doing this by creating multiple copies of Q1, putting them on top of all questions without page breaks and disabling the checkboxes using JS.However, this seems really inefficient and I was also unable to set the options selected in the original Q1 as default in all the copies. Could anyone help out with either the overall task or just setting the previously selected choices as default for all copied questions. Thanks
I have a constant sum matrix with three column.I want to set a validation so that the sum of the 1st column may or may not be 100.But the column 2 and 3 must be equal to 100.
So I have a Matrix question with 2 columns of constant sum text boxes.I have set default choices to be displayed in all 9 rows of the first column and I want to disable text entry in that column so that respondent is not able to change those numbers. I have this code but I am unable to rewrite it to only disable the 9 rows of the first columnjQuery("input[type='text']").prop("disabled",true);
I’m trying to apply custom validation to Q2 such that the sums of Column 1 and Column 2 do not succeed the respective entries in textbox 1 and textbox 2 of Q1
I want to disable selected rows in a matrix.@TomG helped me out on something similar. However I want to rewrite the code to disable selected rows (say row 1 & 2) in column 1jQuery(".c4 input[type='text']").prop("disabled",true);
In Question 1 we ask the responded the countries they have worked in (Out of 10). Based on their answer we need to make a loop. In the loop we need to ask a set of 5 questions. Those questions need to be asked for 15 companies. So the sequence of the loop goes --> 5 questions for each company starting from the first country then moving onto the next country. The problem that I’m facing is that the loop moves to the next country after the “Company 1” without exhausting rest of the companies.Is this correct?Side note: I need to pipe in the company and country names from fields into the Questions text as well.
I want to add forced response to a matrix question for all options other than “Other”. I’m able to achieve this through custom validation but applying this to every question is a strenuous task and also increase loading time. Is there a way to use the following code that disables the next button until all but other option is selected. The selected count option won’t work because the respondent may choose the “Other” option and miss the compulsory option.{this.disableNextButton();this.questionclick = function(event,element){if (element.type == 'radio'){var numAnswered= this.getSelectedChoices()if (numAnswered.length >= 3){this.enableNextButton();}else{this.disableNextButton();}
In a constant sum.I want to add a validation so that the total of the column is not greater than 100 (can be less than 100).
I’m trying to use custom CSS to add grid lines the matrix. I do know that modern layout has grid lines but I want to apply it to the flat layout.I’m using this code .Skin .Matrix table th { border-right: 1px solid black; }.Skin .Matrix table td { border-bottom: 1px solid black;}However the grid lines are coming out like this
I’m first asking two questions from the respondent.Countries you have experience working in. (Multi-select, out of 10) Companies you have experience working in. (Multi-select, out of 14)Moving forward they’ll answer the next block of 5 questions, on loop, for each selected company in each selected country.Now, I want it so that a combination of a country and a company is only asked one time.I’m doing this by applying Quotas for all possible combinations of a country and company. Then I’ll apply display logic to the options of companies question as to only display if the quota has not been achieved.So, for example, I’ve applied a quota of n=1 for Q1=USA and Q2=Company A. Once this quota is achieved, the next time a respondent selects USA, they will not be shown Company A in Q2. So my question is, all possible combinations of country and companies to make quotas would be 140. Is their an easier/more efficient way to achieve this?
I have this multi select matrix.I want to apply validation such that if “Usage A” OR “Usage B” OR “Both” is selected, “Awareness” Must be selected.
