I want to add some additional descriptive text within a question to link to from a question statement. I found the following in the user documentation: "Text anchors allow you to link to content in the same question. For example, if you have a long disclaimer with various sections in your survey, you can use a text anchor to link to the top of each section—ultimately making it easier for your participants to navigate. Text anchors must be specified in the question in order to use this option." However, It does not explain how to specify a text anchor.
I am experimenting with the limits of functionality in a trial version of Qualtrics. I first developed a survey within a paid license. The survey used embedded data and displayed the values at the end of the survey. I have now replicated the survey in within a trial version. The only thing I have changed was the embedded data field names. I wanted shorter names so they are a 4 letter, all CAPS. It seems that the embedded data fields will now not display at the end of the survey. Any suggestions? Thanks
For the following text + html code, the statement formats exactly like I want it in edit mode ... with four sub bullets under a header: SWOT Analysis - Description (mouse over) - Click for more info (link) - Key considerations for Industry 4.0 - Scoring Guidance However, when I preview it, I lose the bullets and line breaks ------------------------ 1) SWOT Analysis <ul> <li style="text-align: left;"><span style=";color:red;cursor:pointer" title="A SWOT Assessment identifies internal Strengths & Weaknesses as well as external Opportunities & Threats for an organization. It provides the foundational information needed to develop winning strategies. ">Description</span></li> <li style="text-align: left;"><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SWOT_analysis" target="_blank">Click for more info</a></li> <li style="text-align: left;"><span style=";color:red;cursor:pointer" title="Key considerations for Industry
I would like to create additional descriptions for each statement in question. I believe that text anchors might be the right tool? If so, I do not know where in the question (header?) to enter the additional descriptive text and how to label it as anchor text to link to.
I realized that Drag & Drop does not include a scoring option, but I would like to assign a value to a statement depending on which group it is dropped in. Is there any way to use math operations or some other method to accomplish this?
I am a new user and trying to understand how to use Math Ops and Embedded Data to create a derived variable within a survey. I have a Side by Side Question with 3 Statements and 2 Columns; "Importance" and "Competency". The "Importance" Column Answers and their scored values are: - Less Important = 1 - Important = 2 - Critical = 3 The "Competency" Column Answers and their scored values are: - Competitive Strength = 1 - Competitive Parity = 2 - Competitive Weakness = 3 For each statement, I would like to multiply the scored values for each column and create a new variable called "Priority". I.e., If a statement was evaluated as both Critical and Competitive Weakness, then it's Priority value would be 9 (3 x 3). I am not sure how to utilized Math Ops, Embedded Data or other Qualtrics features to achieve this. Scott
