Hi,I'm trying to get one slider (from 0 to 10 in increments of 1) that determines the value of two fields. Together, both fields must sum to 10. For example, if I start at a value of 5, and move left, I want the left value to be 6 and the right value to be 4. Basically, I'm trying to get something like this:https://community.qualtrics.com/XMcommunity/discussion/11843/dynamically-updating-two-slider-values-on-the-same-pageI am, however, failing miserably. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.Best
Hi all,I have a Matrix Table (Type: Profile, Answers: Dropdown List) with 2 Statements and 10 Scale Points. Participants need to allocate 10 points between two options. To ensure that they use exactly 10 points, i'd like to make a custom validation whereby both statements need to sum up to 10. To do that, I wanted to sum the answer for both statements in a hidden text question and use it for validation. My questions:How do I use JS to sum the value of both statements in a questions? How do I use JS to hide that question?Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!Best
Hi all, we have the following problem: In our survey, participants complete 2 x 10 blocks. Each time, we randomly draw 10 blocks from a pool of 25 blocks. We would like to have a history table that documents participant performance over time. Thus, in the second block of the first period, we'd like some kind of table that shows the specific variables from the first block. In the 9th block, we'd have a table with 8 columns for the first 8 rounds. Etc. Is there a way to access/show an embedded data field conditional on when its block has been drawn by the randomizer? Thanks. Best
Hi all, I have a matrix table with 15 rows and three columns of text input fields. In each field, I defined default choices using piped text. How can I prevent users from changing these default choices and simply use the matrix table as an overview table? I tried: jQuery("#"+this.questionId+" .InputText").prop("readonly", true); That did not do the trick. Best
Hi everyone, participants in our study have to answer questions in 15 randomized blocks. Afterwards, we want to give them a table, summarizing their performance in each block. Is it possible to record the order in which they saw the different blocks during the survey and subsequently use the same order in the summarizing table? Thanks.
