I have a few matrix table questions in my survey of which one shows up in the normal format on mobile while I would prefer it to show up in the accordion format. Is there a way of forcing this to happen even if the table is not "large enough"? Thanks!
I'm currently using the second date picker from the default qualtrics library. This is the one which actually displays a calendar as opposed to the others that have drop downs. I'd like to be able to validate that the date that is actually chosen is not more than 30 days before the current date. I believe the other default date pickers allow you to set a range of dates but I would like to use this calendar since it is displayed and I would like for it to be agnostic to when the survey is actually taken so no range is hardcoded. Is there some code I can inject somewhere to do this? I am quite inexperienced with Javascript. Thanks in advance!
Hello, I am trying to implement the jQuery datepicker in a loop and merge block. It works fine for the first loop but after that, the calendar does not show up when I click on the text field for entering a date. I notice that this also happens when hitting the back button after selecting a date. Is this an issue with the Qualtrics survey engine or jQuery itself? Hello, I am sending out my survey to a number of possible respondents but expect a 10% response rate. I don't have the budget to host more data than that (and other HSPC regulations) so I would like to automatically have the survey switch off or expire after I hit the required number of respondents. Is it possible to do this or will I have to keep manually monitoring the data and switch it off as I get close? Thanks!
I have a few questions where I ask a question with multiple options. For instance: Did you use prescription drugs? 1. No 2. Yes, before drinking 3. Yes, after drinking 4. Yes, while drinking They can select multiple options but I want to validate it such that if they select "no" they can't select any of the yes options. Is there a less cumbersome way to build the validation than list out all the possible "legal" combinations (eight in this case if my counting is right) since I have to do this for multiple similar questions. I could also use two different questions but I just wanted to check if there was an easier fix. Thanks!
I implemented the flatpickr calendar in my survey using the following code in source: ``` Enter a date in the past 30 days: <link href="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/flatpickr/dist/flatpickr.min.css" rel="stylesheet" /> <script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/flatpickr"></script> ``` and this in the Javascript: ``` Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { jQuery("#"+this.questionId+" input[type=text]").flatpickr({minDate:new Date().fp_incr(-30),maxDate:new Date().fp_incr(-1)}); }); ``` It works exactly like I want it too but after the date is selected, all the pages following have this funky image that shows up below the questions on both - the desktop and phone previews.! Any idea what might be causing this? Thanks!
I am implementing jQuery datepicker with merge and loop. I have implemented it to my requirement for one loop. But it requires me to set up an embedded field called 'date' but since I want to loop through (a max. of thirty times), it obviously overwrites the date field. Is there a way to suffix the loop index into my javascript code so that it stores it in different date variables depending on the loop number? I used the code provided in this question and I think this is where I need to make a change: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnPageSubmit(function() { Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData( 'date', document.getElementById('datepicker').value ); }); Thanks!
I'd like to show a different exit message if the user exits at the consent form level of my survey as opposed to after completing it. Is there a way to implement this? Currently, my consent form goes right to 'exit survey' and that has only the one end survey message attached to it. Thanks!
I'd like to have a message pop up before proceeding to the next page if certain questions on a page are unanswered but not one which forces an answer - is there a way to implement this for specific questions or the page in general?
I'd like to get a user to enter their weight but only in 5 lb increments. Is there a way to set up the custom validation for this? Alternatively, is there a way of taking this data and processing it in a way automatically that rounds it to the closest fifth? Thanks!
I'd like survey a user's height. Currently, it's in two separate text entries for feet and inches which has its own custom validation. Is there a cleaner way of doing this than using two separate text boxes and a custom validation? Thanks!
