I have a survey that requires some link to be sent through a hub (HTTP verification needs to be turned on for the whole project) and some links that will not come from the hub URL (these will just be regular anonymous links with an embedded variable, src, appended at the end). I created an embedded variable, httpVERIFY, that is set equal to the URL for the hub (default) but then added logic such that: if the embedded variable, src, is not empty then httpVERIFY is set equal to the regular anonymous link. I thought this would work but I keep getting the message: "Thank you for your interest in this survey. Unfortunately, you are not authorized to access this survey." Default embedded variable value: httpVERIFY = [HUB URL] Logic in survey flow: If src = not empty, then httpVERIFY = [QUALTRICS SURVEY URL] Survey options setting: HTTP Verification is turned on and the field is equal to: ${e://Field/HTTPverification} Not sure what is wrong here
I have a question that asks for industry and then sub-industry. Normally, I would use a drill down question but my client specifically wants a collapsible list. I've added the sub-industries as answers and assigned them to their respective answer group (industry) . Industry= answer groupSub-industry= answer choicesIs there any way to make the list collapsible so that only the answer groups are shown at first and the respondent can click on the answer group to expand the list and select their sub-industry
Context: I have a question that needed to be formatted as a collapsible list (industry expands to select sub-industry). Although drop down is clearly a better question type, my client has insisted on this format. As such, I have set up a block that has 1 matrix question for each industry (so each matrix has 1 statement) and the scales includes all the sub-industries (can vary from 1-5). Then, I added custom code to always force the matrix to display as an accordion style for desktop. However, the accordion must first display collapsed and then the respondent can choose to expand/collapse. I had a developer help me implement code so that the accordions are always first collapsed. Issue: Once the accordion for that question is selected/expanded it will not collapse and remain expanded. The developer I worked with said that it would be too much work to try to figure out how allow force the accordion questions to start collapsed and then allow for both expanding and collapsing. He also d
How can I add a header to the right statement/answer for a max diff? Currently, I can only do it for the left answer using this:jQuery("#"+this.questionId+" td.c1:first").html("Statement A");jQuery("#"+this.questionId+" td.AnswerLeft").html("Statement B");I can't figure out how to do the same for the right side and the text has to be in line with the column headers
Hi, I am currently running a survey that has to be set to "Open Access" since a reusable anonymous link is used for respondents coming from a certain source (Embedded Data: src=cnt). For all other respondents, we share unique links but these links can be re-used as well if a respondent tries to retake/share the survey (this is because of the "open Access" setting but should not happen for the unique links that so not have src=cnt). I would like to set up a termination such that: If embedded variable src does not equal cnt, then Q_URL (or another unique variable) cannot be used more than once/duplicated for the survey. I was looking into survey flow logic/quota logic that contains a regex match but I haven't found a working solution. Please let me know if anyone has experience using both reusable links and unique links on Qualtrics!
Context: I'm using javascript (coded by someone else!) in one of my questions and it's currently doing the following: 1. It will pre-select/pre-code a choice if they selected recode value 1 OR 3 in a previous question (QID20, QID284, and QID283)and then the pre-selected choice will also be hidden on the page screen 2. Then, the respondent is shown any choice that was not pre-coded (QID15-16-label, QID15-17-label and/or QID15-18-label) AND the choice "none of these" which is exclusive BUT cannot be set to be exclusive on the survey question page because of the pre-coded answers. As such, the javacript on bottom is supposed to make "none" (QID15-19-label) exclusive by unclicking it IF an answer choice that is not pre-coded/hidden is selected Question/Problem: Everything works fine when taking the survey/testing the survey. However, when I review the data, a choice will still be recorded if it was clicked and then unclicked. For example, if QID15-16-label is pre-coded and hidden and
