Thank you Ahmed !
Hi Shashi and Mathew, Firstly, thank you very much for your quick responses! I will try both suggestions . Matthew’s suggestion is really straight forward but I have around 2000 observations . Unfortunately copying and pasting like it is done in Excel is not possible (I guess) in qualtrics .I have looked into the Custom Field option. The problem is that Q1 is being used in my dashboard and also as a filter in my dashboard. And I want Q2 to replace Q1 in the survey and stack up previous responses gathered in Q1 in the same column as Q2. Hope this all makes sense. I am used to Stata which allows this type of data manipulations (merging and appending ) relatively easily. thanks
Hi Josh, It’s working now! It doesn’t work in the Simple layout so I had to use the Flat layot. The latter is not ideal but I don’t want to add a substantial code in case it doesnt work. But below is the link for the solution: https://community.qualtrics.com/survey%2Dplatform%2D54/flatpickr%2Dnot%2Ddisplaying%2Dwith%2Dsimple%2Dlayout%2D23169 Thank you very for your help! Regards, Al
Hi. Nothing happens unfortunately. treats it as a normal text question… OSqiy
Thanks Josh! Unfortunately its not working. please see the attached screenshots.
Sorry. Put the code in the header via Look and Feel - General - Header or the question itself? And the Java code: add it to the same date question (imported from the Qualtrics library) or create a new Text entry question? Also will it be in the dd/mm/yyyy format? Could you please clarify. Thanks.
Hello. I am using one of the 3 calendar question from the Qualtric library (Demographics-Calendar and Date Questions-Enter a date). I want to make sure that the choosen date is not beyond the current date. How can I do this? Can I use a condition like Display Logic or do I need to write code? Thanks, Al
Yes, I agree. Thank you for your comments! Best, Al
Hi Deepak,Thank you very much for your suggestions. The hierarchy approach is what we are going to use. However, we don't really need to limit access to the different dashboard data and only wanted to avoid using filters and have the drop downs on the left hand side. All the best,Al
Hi Thomas,Many thanks for your helpful comments. We also use filters and then lock them. However, we have to use a long list of filters (ie car makers). Alternatively we were looking to create drop down menus at page level to categorise the list first (eg Japanese, European and US), country and then car brands. Thanks,Al
