! I figured it out – it's possible to pass piped text into the display logic.
@Igee Yep, we have the random carry forward sorted out – but we're struggling with the display logic for the final question. You said "Use Display logic to compare Question 2's answer with Question 3's answer" – that's exactly what I want to do, but don't see a way to do such a comparison. The 2 options are randomly chosen from a large list. Is there a way to literally specify "If `response_2` == `response_3`?" Or would we need to hard code all the possible options?
@Igee – Unfortunately it's pretty complicated – both questions randomly display 2 companies that the respondent is familiar with. Here's a simple example: 1. Which of the following companies have you heard of? * companyA * companyB * companyC * companyD 2. Which of the following companies do you prefer? * companyB _(randomly chosen out of their answers to #1)_ * companyD _(randomly chosen out of their answers to #1)_ 3. Which of the following companies do you use the most? * companyB _(randomly chosen out of their answers to #1)_ * companyD _(randomly chosen out of their answers to #1)_ Then we want to display the next question only if their answer to #2 was the same as their answer to #3. Does that make sense? I realize this is probably unnecessarily complicated, so we will push back on the client if there's no clean way to do this.
Nevermind on this – I figured out how to get the HTML from our template message and pass that in to create a new message. I'd still love a "Create Message From Template" feature B)
Mystery solved B) I had been using this one, which doesn't accept libraryId. Didn't realize that was slightly different from the link you shared! Thanks so much for looking into this.
I'm using v3...I've successfully created a list, uploaded contacts to it, removed opt-outs, and created samples. So all I have left to figure out is how to share that list with the relevant group. All I did was change this: ```python data = { "name": mailing_list_name } ``` to this: ```python data = { "libraryId": my_library_id, "name": mailing_list_name } ``` Am I missing anything obvious?
Yeah so actually the Library ID thing is not working as expected :( I'm getting an error: "Unexpected json key provided: libraryId" I think the Library ID is definitely what I need...just need to figure out how to actually use it :-)
The Library ID was exactly what I needed -- thank you! Better naming consistency between the UI and the API would have been helpful here :D
The best solution I've found so far is to simply retry failed imports until they are successful.
I know that's an option, but we're uploading multiple lists per week so we're seeking a more automated solution.
I'm just going to multiply the total response count by our typical complete rate to get an estimate.
! Unfortunately now I have the same problem, and I don't know which export is which :/
Thanks for the quick reply! IMO it should be easy to cancel something like this, but I guess I'll just wait it out :#
