I have a form that takes data from a web service in between different blocks as part of the survey flow. For some calls (lots of data) the response time takes long enough that the web service has already moved on to the next block in the survey. The web service itself fails with a 'broken pipe' message and the survey then doesn't have the required embedded data for the user to continue. Is there a way to extend the timeout? Or trigger the web service without using the next button?
Hello! I would like to insert a slider question, but i would like it as a distribution graph. So the participant can respond to the question by sliding a distribution graph. I would like one that looks similar to the one on this website, where the red one can be slid but the black one stays in place. Just two normal distributions with no numbers. https://www.desmos.com/calculator/h2xsfakrik If anyone could help me figure out how to do this, that would be amazing. I talked with qualtrics support and they mentioned I would probably have to use JavaScript, but I know nothing about JavaScript so I am reaching out here. Thank you
When we have people upload a document/PDF to a qualtrics, we have them use a naming convention. However, when we down load the batch using the zip feature, the file name is preceded by a bunch of garbly letters and numbers and the file name is only the first few letters of the info needed. We want to be able to download a batch of uploaded documents without losing the file names / having to manually rename each and every file.
Hello everybody, I have a survey with a specific question that must be seen by the respondent for several minutes. Basically the respondent is supposed to wait 10 minutes before he's allowed to go to the next question. I added a timing question that counts 10 minutes, and then the survey auto advances to the following question. The problem is that the timer restarts from the beginning if the respondent accidentally presses F5 or uploads the page or closes the browser and clicks again on the link to reopen the survey. Is there a way to count the time and not lose the timing even though the browser is closed/uploaded? Thank you
Hello there! I noticed that if you have Stats IQ, the Cluster Analysis or other features does NOT work with Matrix questions currently. As a workaround, I layered many Multiple Choice, Single Answer questions on top of each other so that I could show a bunch of questions together. Does anyone know a way to make it so that the statement shows on the side of the question, rather than on the top? Maybe using Div Class?
I've seen some answers that get close to this question, but nothing that hits it right on. I have ~1500 students who are taking a variety of ~500 courses (the courses have student enrollment of 6 to 120, most are in the range of 10 to 20). I would like to survey the professors of each course, presenting them with an alphabatized multiple-answer list of the students enrolled in their course, so they can select students that they have concerns about. The choices that they make in this first question will then be carried over to subsequent questions, so that I can drill-down into the reasons for the professor's concerns. I think I see a way to do this by having a giant question with all the students listed, and then using answer display logic to show or not show them based on embedded data in the contacts (one contact for each course, one embedded data field for each student). However, that seems like a very painful way to approach the problem. Is there a better way? If not, is there a
With Slider, I can snap to the grid. With ConstantSum I can see the value of the slider on its right. Is there a way to have both?
