I am using an anonymous link to recruit 1000 survey participants from the web.I want to provide each participant with a unique username and password that has been pre-generated. Of course, I do not want two (or more) participants to have the same username and password.I have considered uploading the username and passwords in a contact list, but I do not have a way to link the usernames and passwords in the contact list to each individual participant because the recruitment will be anonymous.To link the usernames and passwords to each participant, I have considered assigning the 1000 pre-generated usernames and passwords with a unique value between 1 and 1001 and subsequently assigning participants to a unique embedded data field value between 1 and 1001 when they enter the survey. In my survey, respondents provide two times in two separate text entry questions on the same page: a time they got in bed (“11:30 PM”) and a time they got out of bed (“8:00 AM”). I need to calculate the number of minutes between these two times. @TomG suggested using luxon for this and the luxon manual for duration math seems relatively straightforward. However, without much familiarity with Javascript I am struggling to make this calculation. Help would be very appreciated!
Respondents record a start time (time to bed) and and end time (time out of bed) in separate questions using flatpickr’s time picker. The responses are recorded in the format, for example, 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM, for start time and end time respectively.I need to calculate time in bed = (time out of bed - time to bed) in minutes. I'm attempting to calculate, record, and display the total incentive that survey respondents will receive depending on their performance on a game embedded in the survey. The process of calculating, recording, and displaying the respondent's incentive will repeat daily over 14 days.If a participant records a score equal to or above 100 points on the game (as recorded in the ED day1_total), they will receive a $0.10 increment to their total incentive payment. For example, see the screenshot.When using piped text ($${e://Field/incentive_total}) to display incentive_total to participants, the piped text does not retain zeroes that are unnecessary. That is, piping in incentive_total displays $0.1 or $ instead of $0.10 or $0.00.Using the round operator does not seem to work. There are a few approaches that have solved this using JS, but with minimal understanding of JS, I cannot seem to extrapolate the solutions from others' problems to my own.Any help would be appreciated!
Hi,In my survey flow, participants play a brief game. After the game, a single answer multiple choice question is presented asking whether they want to "continue playing" or "stop playing". This sequence repeats for up to 20 rounds. In my survey flow, the same block and question is used to ask participants if they want to continue or stop playing after each round. As a result, the answer choice that was selected on the previous round (e.g. "I want to continue playing") is auto-selected when the question is displayed again on a subsequent round.I'd like to clear the previous answer choice so that no answer choice is auto-selected.Does anyone know whether this is possible with custom code?Thanks!
