I am recruiting participants using an anonymous link.
I want each participant to be assigned a unique ID from a set of ID values that I have created ahead of time (e.g. 1 – 30).
Is there a way to implement this?

If you set you quota at 30 responses you could load those 30 values as embedded data below a Randomizer. You could Randomly present 1 of the following elements and then check the Evenly Present Elements box. As long as you didn't have more than 30 people taking the survey they should each in theory get a different random value.

Hi MSobotta, thanks for your help!
I like this solution! My concern is creating the unique embedded data elements would be tedious as this project scales. Although I’ll be starting with roughly 30 participants, I’ll soon be using 1000+. I’d prefer not to create such a large number of embedded data elements
Do you see any other way?
