I've recently closed a survey where almost half of the respondents did not manually provide their Country from a drop-down box.I've looked up their countries on a response-by-response basis and have a CSV file that maps ResponseID to the relevant respondent's Country.I now want to import the missing data back into Qualtrics, but I'm concerned about data integrity. Can I use the Import Data feature and map the ResponseID and Country fields so that only the ones without the Country information are affected, or will I need to run a full export of all the survey data, add the country information into that CSV, and then import it all?
Does anyone know of a way to disable a survey's header image on the opening page of a survey? My searches so far have come up empty. I'd like to be able to use a particular graphic which incorporates the relevant logo into its design on the introduction / landing page, and then have the logo alone be displayed on subsequent pages throughout the survey, but I'm not sure of the best way to achieve this effect.
I have a matrix table where I'm asking respondents to indicate the ways in which they consume particular products. The question is set up so that the products are Statements (carried forward from a previous question), and the Scale Points are the format(s) in which they use the product. The issue I'm having is that not all scale points are applicable to every statement - for example, using a web-based product in a printed format. Is there a way I can use custom Javascript to hide the scale points that don't apply for affected products? (Of course, if there's an easier method to hide these wihtout resorting to JS I'd be happy to hear about that too!)
Is there a way to reliably re-size text entry form fields, either through the survey builder or custom Javascript? I've tried dragging the bozes to the correct size in the survey editor, but the changes aren't reflected in the 'live' survey, and the fields reset to the default 'small' size whenever I load the project. For clarity, here's how it looks in the editor: ! And here's how it shows up in the survey: !
After customising quite a few surveys in Qualtrics, there are some elements that I've repeatedly struggled to adjust to my full satisfaction. Does anyone know of a canonical reference document that shows the CSS relating to Next and Back buttons (especially their position - I can only ever get them to show in the bottom-right of each page, next to one another)? I'm also having difficulty with matrix questions - I can't figure out the CSS that controls the 'fade on hover' behaviour for alternate lines. I have a darker shade behind every other statement / ranking line, which currently fades to white on mouse-over and I'd like to disable this behaviour. Any help appreciated!
