I have a one question survey that uses the slider question with stars. According to Qualtrics documentation and a call to tech support, there are only 2 question types that can be used as an inline question and 'slider' is not one of them. I was hoping someone has create a work around solution for this situation and would be able to share it. I can do HTML but I do not do javascript.
I feel silly for asking this because I imagine it is obvious, but how do I search for a topic in the community to see if someone has already asked the question I need an answer to? I could not find a search box.
Has anyone distributed their survey as an anonymous link embedded in a QR code AND in a Vanity URL? If so, how did you set the survey options for "Save and Continue" and "Partial Completion"? For my survey, there is the possibility that a respondent would want to take the survey several times if they made multiple visits to the location where the printed QR code and survey URL will be positioned. If I select "Save and Continue", if a respondent accesses the survey via the QR code, but does not complete the survey, the next time they access the survey (either to complete the survey they had started by using the Vanity URL or on a subsequent visit to the location they want to take another survey to give new feedback ) it will open to where they left off (unless Partial Completion is set to a day or less). If I don't select "Save and Continue", if a respondent does not complete the survey and accesses it again with the same device, there will be more than one response, possibly for th
How did you program the survey to automatically submit responses and close the survey if a respondent started the survey but walked away from the device without finishing it. I need the survey to close after a certain amount of inactivity so that the survey doesn't stay open where the person left off. I need the survey link to display on the iPad for the next respondent, not the survey question where the last respondent stopped taking the survey.
I am looking to write basic testing scripts for testing the programming of a survey. I was hoping not to start from scratch and that someone else already has something they are willing to share.
