I'm looking for some assistance with removing blank entries from an embedded data drop down list. I have created a product servicing form which includes a list of questions that must be completed for each product a person wishes to get serviced. I have used branch logic so that if a person has 2 products that are either different or the same, they will see different questions. If a product is the same as a previous one, I have created a drop down using javascript that includes embedded data that has been piped from previous answers. I have included an image of the code I am currently using. For each new product, I am including an extra embedded data field from the previous response. The issue that I am experiencing however, is that if someone chooses the option of the product being the same as a previous one, the dropdown for the next product will have a blank space.Would anyone have any idea of how to fix this issue?
I'm relatively new to Qualtrics so apologies if the answer to my question is extremely straightforward!I'm looking for some help with a product service form. The aim of this form is for customers to fill in details about their product before sending it in for servicing. Whether a customer wants to service one product or 5 products, they will have to fill in the same set of questions listed in the image below. The issue that I'm experiencing is if someone has two of the same products for servicing. For example, products 1 and 2 are different but product 3 is the same as product 2. Ideally, I would like to pipe the answers from products 1 and 2 into product 3.Based on this information I have a few questions:I have attempted to pipe answers from drop down questions, however the answers are not populating. Is it possible to pipe answers from dropdowns? Is it possible to pipe the answers from all previous products into one?Do I need to created Embedded Data for this query? If yes, what would
I'm creating a form for people to fill in when they are looking to get a product serviced. As a customer could have multiple products for servicing, the same questions need to be asked multiple times. However, we require that the customer input all of the product information for each product they would like serviced even if the only difference between products is their serial number. We are therefore looking to auto-populate some answers for customers if they have multiple products with the same information. The initial question that we would like the information to populate from is a form field question with 6 different options. I have Javascript included in this question so that some answers are text entry and some dropdown.I am not well versed in JavaScript so I am unsure as to how to go about auto-populating these answers. Would anyone have any ideas?
I am looking to auto-populate answers from multiple questions into one single question. For example, if a person responds "x" to Q1 and "y" to Q2, I would like for both "x" and "Y" to populate as the answer choices in Q3.Questions 1 and 2 are both form field questions with 6 different fields to be filled in. I have included Javascript in these questions to have a mixture of both text entry and drop down options.Question 3 would follow the same layout as questions 1 and 2 and include the same 6 fields. However, for question 3 I would just like the answer choices from each field of questions 1 and 2 to be displayed.Would this be possible to achieve? I don't have much experience with Javascript so any help with this question would be greatly appreciated.
