Over the past week or 2 we have been having surveys randomly restart during testing and fielding of surveys. It happens like this: Within the final block of the survey but before the last page, respondent clicks the next button and is sent to the beginning of the survey flow. When re-traversing the survey at this point, responses are already filled and they need to just click the next button. For us this is a major issue, since our surveys can be a bit lengthy, it means we are losing out on respondents who finished and didn't want to go all the way back through. It also isn't a consistent problem, but seems to happen at random. Anyone else experiencing this in either production or testing?
This is a great piece of information I was informed f today, turns out, a few months ago jQuery was added to Qualtrics as a default! The one caveat being that you need to use jQuery instead of $ to reference it (obviously done to not break legacy code that relies on prototype.js. More details here: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/question-options/add-javascript/#Guidelines Thought I would share, since as far as I know this wasn't ever really "announced", but it is super helpful. Anyone else that didn't know this had been added?
As the title implies, what are your top 5 features that you would love to see added to the platform, and why do you want them? I'd say my / my organizations top 5 are as follows: 1. Re-code seen but not selected on data export - The ability to re-code downloaded data where the respondent saw an answer option, but didn't select it. This would be particularly helpful for Multiple Choice>Multi-select questions, where answer options have logic surrounding them. The difference between a person who didn't select an answer, and a person who did not see an answer is significant, and unfortunately take quite a bit of work to distinguish. 2. Ability to tab between question names when relabeling, ignoring page breaks - The ability to press tab to go to the next question label for speedy relabeling is great, but page breaks unfortunately break the cycle. It's a small thing that would save my team a lot of time when relabeling questions. 3. More mobile friendly slider t

When using piped text, how can I change commas (or some other arbitrary character / value) to something else (line breaks, dashes, other words, etc.). As I said, I have a solution, but I would love to see what you all come up with in the mean time.

Figured littering the Original post with theme discussion may not be best, lets discuss further here! A couple things I have noticed / opinions:! ! On the original splash page, I would love to see the big banner image / search bar taking up about half the height that it is currently. Also, the highlighted segment of text shows up on EVERY page of the community and I have no way to dismiss it. Seems like something you only show once, or at least give a dismiss / close option to.
So far I have been pretty happy with the way the community is working and flowing. Has anyone else felt differently about it? Any opinions about it that you'd like others to chime in on? Just curious if others are finding it as enjoyable as I am!
Has anyone had any experience doing work in Canada that can shed some light on the best way to ask race / sex / ethnicity? We are getting ready to do some new research, and are concerned that the Qualtrics Universal standards may not be right for Canada and some other countries.
