I would like to have a table with all the answers to a question (free comments) and next to it embedded data gotten from a url link (for example language). But I noticed I can only do a breakout by embedded data, and not even all embedded data appears to be selected. The goal is to then send a report weekly only containing the latest new data with the answers to a question and next to each answer the embedded data (for example: language, type...) which comes from a url. Hi, I would like to translate a survey but without using the dropdown menu. Ideally I would like a first question asking users to select a language and depending on their answer (multiple choice with image) the next questions will be in the selected language. Preferably I would not want to create a survey flow with each question in multiple languages where I would create a huge database with multiple "questions" that are actually the same question but another language. Dear all, For a report I have created an embedded data with the piped text of a text field answer (for example: overall comm. (embedded data) = ${q://QID5/ChoiceTextEntryValue}) This I have done to prevent the CSV export of a report to include the question text rather than a short title I have given it. However, I notice when I do a CSV export all the data is there but if a text entry answer option and the answer has a comma in its text the file adds two comma’s which makes it harder to go from text to columns. On the other hand, I also notice the data is quite often not all put in the first column alone. I notice that it’s the text entry answer options are where the data is split up into multiple columns. For example: text entry answer In first column: Hello m Second column: y name is Would there be a way to prevent this from happening? Dear all, I have created a report in a paginated table. The survey has been translated in 3 languages (EN, NL, FR). When I export the raw data all the multiple choices are in EN (even when the respondent answered in NL or FR). However, in the report it gives the answer of the respondent in their language instead of English. I would like all the answers in the paginated table to be in English (the original survey language). Is there a way to do this? FYI: some of the data in the report is embedded data with the value being the answer to a previous question (selected choices). Thanks in advance!!
Dear all, I have created a report using a paginated table to export into CSV/Excel. I have changed the titles of the questions in the report. Yet when I export it, it includes the full question as well as the HTML/CSS used in some questions. This messes up the text to columns feature as the rows don't match up with the correct columns. How can I export the file without having the full questions or anpother solution that doesn't require me to change the questions in the survey itself? For example: Question about NPS score includes scale with HTML/CSS formatting, but the title in the table should be 'overall NPS'. Thanks in advance for the advice and help!
Dear all, I have different questions but not all are visible to the respondent. I would need to create an output (for example an embedded data in survey flow) that would be the following: If scale question 1 has an answer, the output should include this answer, if it's empty than the output should include the answer of scale question 2. If both are empty the output should equal N/A Currently we use this formula in Excel to receive the desired output. =IF(NOT(ISBLANK(A1));A1;IF(NOT(ISBLANK(B1));B1;"n/a")) with column A having the answers of Q1 and column B having the answers of Q2 The goal would be to have a seperate column in the reporting section of Qualtrics that would have this logic (so we don't have to manually do it in Excel afterwards). In my first question I ask the user for their preferred language. Depending on their answer the survey changes language using the following script for the onload function of the following question that is in a separate block ==>jQuery("select").val("${e://Field/Q_Language}").prop("checked",true); However, I want to add a question in between asking the date they visited us (using the calendar survey question from the library). I want the question text to differ per language, but when I translate the survey using tools and change the text in HTML it still shows the survey using the English question text. How can I translate the calendar question from the library? Thank you!
I added additional columns in a report, containing the answers of a question. The possible answers (multiple choice question) include piped text (embedded data set from url or panel), but when I add the columns, as well as when exported, the report still includes the piped text instead of the embedded data. To illustrate: From a url I know someone's destination for a ticket, for example Brussels central train station. That is embedded into survey flow as DDesrination value set from url or panel. Then I have a question: What has impacted your travel experience the most With an answer option being the infrastructure at ${e://Field/DDestination} Then in the reporting in an additional column it appears as ${e://Field/DDestination} instead of Brussels central train station. Is there a way to solve this so it includes the embedded data instead of the piped text? Thank you in advance!
Can I automatically email the results of an open question (more specifically all the free comments when asked about suggestions) after a certain period of time or after a certain amount of answers? If so, how and in which format (csv, pdf...). Thank you in advance!
To sketch the situation: I would ask a survey on three different tablets and I need to know from which tablet it comes. I would automatically want the survey to restart again for a new respondent but I also want to know on which tablet it was filled out. Do I have to make three identical surveys (one per tablet) and then combine the data OR is there a way to have 1 survey (with 1 link) and yet I would know on which tablet the person filled out the survey in my analysis. I do not have the take survey offline option. (Additional question: depending on the tablet can I also change the survey background, for example if taken on tablet 1 then pink background, if else green background).
