https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/comment/35448#Comment_35448Yes, I would like to know this too!
@StapIs this what you were after? Appears to be a new addition.https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/editing-questions/question-types-guide/standard-content/matrix-table/#Carousel
I have the same question as anhernan -- I want to know about changing multiple question labels, not multiple question text (which is what LaurenK says?)Specifically, because Qualtrics by default labels a question with ALL of the text entered for the Question, I always need to RENAME all Question labels in my survey. At the moment, I need to click twice on every question to do this, once to select the question, and once to make the default label editable. This is a seriously time-consuming process. There is currently auto-recode question numbers, and the Recode Values window isn't too inefficient, it would be nice if there was an easy way to relabel questions too. (Even it was added as an option to the Recode Values window that would significantly reduce time involved!)
rondev Thanks, this is great and saved me so much time (I was originally manually repeating all options using display logic which was crazily convoluted!)However do you know of anyway to not only exclude 'None' from showing in the 2nd Q, but to then 'exclude it from analysis' for Q2 also? (I have about 25 of these paired Qs, and they each have a Other/OtherText/None which I used the Carryforwrd>Randomisation to exclude from showing in the 2nd Q, but I then have 75 blank columns in my data that every time I export I have to go through and delete!)
You can also use the approach here, which is quicker to implement than the display logic: https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/11930/exclude-none-from-carry-forward-answer-choicesIt says to use 'carry forward' and then use Randomisation>Advanced Randomisation on the carry forward question and put 'None of the Above' in the 'exclude' category.
namvh89 Most people suggest this as a way to force the accordion on a mobile screen, aka https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/3850/how-to-force-mobile-optimization-for-matrix-tables. To make this work properly on a *desktop*, you have to drag the bar REALLY, REALLY far to right right (eg. way off the screen). I wanted this to happen for my survey, and in the backend, you scroll to lengths of the screen to the right before you see the labels
This works if you don't need to drag it very far, OR you don't have anyone answering on a desktop. But I get about 50/50 desktop/mobile, so dragging it far enough to force to accordion for mobile then makes the question display terribly on a desktop. I need an option that only comes into effect when device type is mobile, and whenever it detects mobile ALWAYS forces mobile-friendly option even if it thinks the matrix table is 'small enough', but leaves the desktop version alone:As a workaround I've just created two versions of the question, one with display logic for Mobile and the other for Not Mobile, but then I have to merge those questions back together later :(
JSwiez great that you got it working! Are you able to post your final solution, so that others can use it too? (ie. paste the JS code that goes in the "Add JavaScript" section, and if you had to put anything in the actual question to get it to work)
https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/comment/8633#Comment_8633Hi @Tom, I'd love to know how you remove the minus sign from the scales? (Ie. what JS to insert)(And what is the popup tooltips you are referring to?)
That's definitely easier when its 2 out of 200! I wonder if there are any other efficient ways when you need to keep lots while also deleting lots??
https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/comment/21024#Comment_21024Hi Tom and allIf you have accidentally manually set the column width by dragging with a random mouse movement, is there a way to undo / reset back to automatic? Thanks!
Could you not just create embedded data for each of your matrix rows where you make both Disagree/Strongly Disagree equal to the same value, and then use the embedded data field(s) for your Loop?
