Hi there-It sounds like you have a mailing list in your Qualtrics directory that you want to narrow down to a particular set (based on respondent yes/ company filters). You can accomplish this by creating a sample of your original mailing list. To do so, navigate into your mailing list, then navigate to 'list options.' From there, select 'Create sample from list.'It should provide you the option to 'Add Sampling Criteria.' You can use this to filter by your embedded data fields (respondent yes/ company). Then, when you go to send your survey, make sure to select your sample, not your entire mailing list. This may have been the cause of your previous issue where the filters seemed not to apply.Hope this helps! Please reach out with any questions :)
Hi there- You can integrate two datasets from two identical surveys. Qualtrics Support page actually offers a pretty good walkthrough of how to do so here:Combining ResponsesThere is a step of export, but the integration of data does happen in Qualtrics, as opposed to an external software.Hope this helps!
Hi Larissa-I agree with your assessment here. Combining multiple TextiQ uploads into a single dashboard field could result in some overlap between your topics, and then any updates within your surveys would have to be done in the dashboard as well.Although I agree with the idea that you would have to export each time you want an up to date data export, I belive you could have fine grained topics for each survey. If you add a filter to your dashboard page that allows you to present data only from one survey (like adding a filter based off of the embedded data field 'surveyID') you would only pull text topics that were relevant to that dataset. However, if you're saying you won't be able to keep text topics that you set in survey 1 and text topics that you set in survey 2 seperate if all are combined in the dashboard, I believe you would be right- a disadvantage of combining text topics is that all you define will be applied to your entire dataset (meaning if you're watching for customer
Hi there! As far as I can see, there's no easy solution to this question. There are really two possibilities:Do exactly as you say, and configure textiQ twice. This can be made easier by exporting a JSON file of your topics from one, and uploading it into the other. You could build a 'simple table' in your dashboard, and include all fields that you'd like to export. You could include among those fields your textiQ topics, then export from that table whenever you're looking to pull data out. This is obviously a better option for smaller sets of data (configuring all those fields can be a lot of work), but once it's set, you don't have to worry about it any more.Hope this is helpful- please feel free to reach out with any questions!
Hi there! If I understand your question correctly, you would like to be able to have the response options for your multiple choice questions be defined by embedded data that is fed into your survey. If so, this can be executed by taking the following steps:First, define your embedded data field in the 'Survey Flow' section of your survey. You would need to define a set of new embedded data field according to whatever you'll be passing in (ex. Color1, Color2, Color 3, Color 4). Save your survey flow.Next, create your multiple choice question. You'll write the question text, then you have the opportunity to define your question response text. For these, you'll need to take two steps: display logic (which may not be applicable to your case) and defining the text itself. To define display logic: Click on one of the response fields, where it says "Click to write choice 1." When you do, click the blue arrow that appears, and click "Add display logic." Select embedded data field, write your fiel
Hi Mellissa! I think what you're asking here is if there is a way to have two sets of data in your survey: one that has the original user input that would remain untouched, and one that has the original user input that you can alter to your preferences using the 'edit' fuction in the data and analysis section of your survey. There are a few ways to accomplish this going forward (some of which you may know about, so I'll list several)To make things easier for future data:You can force a particular type of response to a question using content validation (learn more about that here: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/editing-questions/validation/To set your survey up to be able to alter future data:You can store your question response in an embedded data field in your survey flow (Add logic that says "if someone responds to your question, then store response as embedded data field Q1"). If you do this, a response will be stored twice- once in the actual quest
