Dashboard: Avoid shortening question wording in e.g. question list widget

Hi, I’ve set up several Dashboards and in all of them in e.g. the question list widget the question wordings will automatically shorted with “...” at the end. Is there a possibility to get rid of that automatism? There must be a solution because today I saw a dashboard, where even wordings in multiple lines (5 lines!) where completely displayed. Thx

Ability to Custom Sort Heatmaps (Feature Improvement Suggestion)

It would be great if there was the ability to custom sort the order of the breakout displayed on the heatmap. For example, we often like to use the heatmap feature to look at how the different tenure groups compare when responding to employee engagement questions. After speaking with a Qualtrics support representative, the only option they have found is to relabel each of these groups with a letter in front of them, so they are sorted alphabetically (A - 3 to 6 months, B - 6 to 12 months, etc.). Adding a letter in front seems like a clunky workaround and would much rather be able to customize the order instead.

I am looking for best pracises and code to show context of question. For example Question text is : How would you rate your engagement level? Context “Engagement is broad term and depend on various factors happines……………………...” I want to show context as tool tip and should work well on all devices. Can you share how it can be done?

How to add an "import date" metadata field to employee data when importing them into EX Directory

Hi everyone, My organization has an automation that imports new employees into the directory on a daily schedule. I would like to add a metadata field to each employee record that includes the date their data was imported into the Qualtrics directory. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to achieve this using the workflow tasks. Is there an alternative method to do this without editing the source file from which we import the employee data? Exporting Scorecard widget to XLSX format

Hi All, I am wondering if any of you have tried to adjust the layout/formatting of the Excel export of a Scorecard widget in EE Dashboard? Currently, when you export the scorecard widget to Excel, the output file is uninviting. Without a doubt it does contain all the necessary data, but I would love to add custom color coding to the template, format the headers, columns width ect. So that the users in my organization can download a nice looking report when exporting the widget, instead of manually adjusting it each time the scorecard is downloaded. Are you aware if such idea could be achieved? I would appreciate very much your experience on this topic.

Question and Block Preview Different From Survey Preview

I have a survey with CSS added into the “Look & Feel” portion. It adds a line before the last option (“Other, please specify: “). In the question preview AND the block preview, this displays perfectly. However, in the survey preview the line is missing. I have tried rebuilding both the question and the block to no avail. Single choice questions in another block work, so unsure about the cause. I tested on both Edge & Chrome and I cleared my cache / cookies. There is no specific HTML in the question. Show respondent just once in dashboard

If you have a dashboard with multiple data sources, where a given respondent can have responded 0 to many times across the data sources, is it possible to somehow set a filter that only shows the respondent one time in a widget?

Remove error.svg from authenticator message

I found help on managing text that is shown for authenticator errors, but I also want to remove the error.svg (red exclamation point). Can anyone tell me how to do this/share CSS or javascript to do it?

Response rates for both Email and Anonymous link particiapants

Hi Guys, I have a large survey going out right now where 10% of the respondents will be using a QR code to access the survey (through an anonymous link with an Authenticator). I want to be able to count the number of people who have used the QR Code in an EX widget somehow. I thought I could maybe use the Q_EE_ANON field and look for people who have it set to 1. Any thoughts on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. Scott

Using Authenticator for Some Users and Not Others

I am responsible for my company’s Engagement survey. At my company, historically for salaried team members, they would receive a unique link to the survey through their email. For hourly team members, we would ask them to input their employee ID# to complete the survey so that we are able to collect meta-data on the back end tied to their employee ID# (i.e., location data, demographic data, hierarchy data, etc.). This year, due to changes in leadership, we will only be able to ask our North America employees to input their employee ID#s. I need a way to use the authenticator for just North American employees, and not any employees from any other country. I am trying to come up with workarounds to this so that maybe North America at the very least can still collect employee ID#s and allow us to analyze the data that we need. One method I thought of was to use the first question of the survey to identify what region a team member is from. If they select North America as their region and

Pseudonymization: can you still make cross-project analysis?

If you activate Pseudonymization in EX, does each participant receive the same pseudonym in every survey? In other words, can we still do cross-project analysis, to have insights like “employees who give a negative rating on survey 1, also give in general a bad rating on survey 2” ? And if you exempt certain surveys from the pseudonymization, then you probably cannot combine data from that survey with pseudonymized surveys?

Slider in EX projects

Has anyone done a slider or something similar to a tachometer in an EX project ( Engagement for example ). I assume the only option would be using Javascript, but I am having some troubles with getting it to work properly. Any input is appreciated!

Does anyone have experience with how to restrict participant data (Name, Email) from the Data & Analysis tab for admins. We do not want them to be able to pull identifying information by employee.

Using participants to extract demographic data

Hello everybody, We are surveying new employees in their onboarding period with several surveys and we have build dashboards to keep track of the results. Every new employees receive a survey after the 1st week, and we also have other metadata fields to help us describe our sample (country, division, etc). We want to use that data for demographics purposes, e.g. to know how many new hires we had in a time period. Is there a way to track in the dashboard the number of people who have been added to this survey’s project? I would want to display how many people in total were added to the project, rather than the participation rate that shows how many people answered the survey. Thank you for the help!

Embedding EX dashboard using iFrame

Has anyone managed to successfully embed an EX dashboard in a third party software / website? I read in the documentation that it is possible to embed widgets in ServiceNow & SalesForce, but I need to embed dashboard results on a client’s website so that’s not an option. I thought iFrame would be an option, but when I tried I saw that X-Frame-Options is set to sameorigin. Any input on this would be helpful

Embedding Dashboard widgets from Employee Engagement dashboards

We would like to display widgets from a few employee engagement dashboards on internal SharePoint webpages on our company Intranet.I see this is possible with the Qualtrics CX Customer Experience product (https://www.qualtrics.com/support/vocalize/widgets/embedding-dashboard-widgets-in-third-party-software/)Has anyone done this with the EX Employee Experience product? Hi there, does any know if it is possible to do a query in TextiQ that looks for comments where the word “No” is the only comment people have made. The client would like to add these to a “No comment” topic. Many people just just written “no”. Thanks!

Parent-Child Org hierarchy with Unit ID

Im creating a parent-child hierarchy but want to also add the Department (or Org unit id) to it. How it “should” work is as follows: Manger 1 Dept. 111 Report 1 Dept 222 Report of Report 1 222 Report 2 Dept 333 Essentially the Org unit id can be nested. What ideally would happen is it would use Manager id - Employee id to generate the basic Parent - Child (which it does) but then annex the metadata field for each user departmentid which identifies their overall org (this is where it fails saying “Units with non unique Org unit ids values”.

Response Rate Widget not displaying as expected

Hello! Our Response Rate widget in our dashboard is not displaying as I expected (see screen grab with 24 “responded”). I’d like to see a department breakout like our past survey (see 93 “responded”), but when I try to filter by department, it gives me an error message. Does anyone know what might be happening? Thanks!

Employee engagement dashboard heatmap label strikes

In employee engagement dashboard on using heatmaps, long labels are not appearing completely in column and name appears with like Department 1…. So it is not user friendly to take screenshot. How you handle this.
