Anyone experiencing issues with EX automation imports using SFTP Server? ER_0042 “unable to connect to sftp server”
Our automated imports have been failing since 9/21/2023 for reason ER_0042 “unable to connect to sftp server”. We have not made any changes recently and this study has been running smoothly for a few months now. Our CX surveys also use the same sftp server and they are not having this issue so I believe there may be an issue with the EX platform. I have submitted a ticket with Qualtrics, but have not heard back and this is impacting our work as we now have to monitor it daily and do a manual workaround. Is anyone else having issues with their automated imports into the EX directory? Or if have you experience this issue before, how did you resolve it?

Hi Do you guys know if there is any possibility to close someone surve answer or stop this person from getting reminders after they have left the company? So for example if the employee is active on th 3 that the survey starts and he is fire or quits on the 6, is there a way to stop the survey from sending this person the survey reminders? The employees here use a personal email so even after they are gone if they are already participants in the survey they get the reminders, and we would like to avoid this. Any ideas?
CX has a dashboard only project type that can be created without living inside a specific project. Doesn’t appear as though something like that exists for EX, but I suppose we could create a blank project to mimic the capability. Has anyone already done this or have an alternative approach? *side note for community admins - why no EX dashboard category to select from?

Finding that a dashboard page originally created in Private mode is now something that would be helpful for others to use too.Currently there is no way to convert a Private page to a Public View page - it has to be rebuilt. Seems like there could be a toggle switch or some way to copy it to a public view page vs. having to rebuild from scratch.
Hi, we are preparing a large scale employee experience survey - however there is a big branch of employees that has no email address in the database. They are factory workers and do not use any PC equipment at work. We are facing 2 challenges now: a) how do we even get them in the directory beforehand? Qualtrics does not allow an upload when email is empty? how do we send the surveys to them? Creating individual links and giving them out seems bothersome.. but there is no individual QR code generator, right? Thanks for the help, maybe somebody dealt with something similar.

I’m sending out a survey in different languages, but we don’t know the preferred language of participants. We’re therefore including all translations of the invite message in the one email, listed one after the other down the body of the email. I’m trying to code in language links at the top of the email so the participant clicks on their language link and it takes them down to their chosen translation. I’ve been trying to use the html coding as follows but it’s not working in the email received when testing. The automation in the Lifecycle surveys would be great to have in other project types? Would be great to see them added to the Ad Hoc projects. Actually…it would be great to have a single project type that includes all the functionalities of Lifecycle, Ad Hoc and Engagement projects. Would allow much more flexibility in some of our builds instead of having to decide which feature is most important if what we need isn’t is in two diff project types.
Hello Qualtrics team, We are implementing Onboarding surveys under EX's Lifecycle product, however, we would like to know if it is possible to automate or have a calculated field that allows the sending of the survey that corresponds to the first 3 months so that it can be sent 10 days before these three months are completed and of course do it in an automatic way. We do this because we want to eliminate any possible bias since the employees of this company know whether or not they passed their probationary period on the day they complete their first three months.
Hello!I am building our Employee Lifecycle strategy and was curious if it was possible to dictate survey delivery based on metadata. Example: If I wanted to send an Exit Survey to team members on their day of exit as opposed to the day the data import happens or on just a pre-scheduled day of the week. If our file import contains “termination date” I’m hoping to set up an automation based on that date specifically.
I have a survey with multiple blocks and i want to randomize them so every participant just sees one of the blocks, however i want to make sure that the distribution of the population is equivalent for each block in terms of country, management level and grade. Is there a possibility to make this in an automatic way? BTW i am using an engagement/pulse type of project - it is EX
How do I allow multiple responses for same participant using organisational hierarchy in the EX platform
I have gone through all the posts and there doesn’t seem to be an answer for the EX platform only other platforms so hopefully someone can help. We are using organisation hierarchy in an employee engagement survey and we want managers to fill in the survey about each of their reports, I know I can do this with an anonymous link but then we won’t have the hierarchy data. Is there anyway to do this within EX? We also tried within the lifecycle survey but the metadata won’t change so we can’t use the multiple responses option either. Thank you!
Hello -Note the title should EX Platform not XM PlatformIn the past I was able to download something that showed personalized links for everyone. I can no longer find it. Does anybody know how to access that information?I do know how to find an individual link by going to the participant details, but it would be nice to have a spreadsheet with them all.
Hello,Can anyone help me with creating a pulse survey from scratch? When i go to create project, i do not see a pulse option like i see engagement, lifecycle etc. I have been reading articles and some of them state that it is the same as creating an engagement project, can anyone please confirm this?
