Mapping Org Hierarchy

I am trying to show comparisons in a dashboard for 2 engagement projects. When I am trying to map my hierarchy (2024 hierarchy to 2023), everytime I try and map across names, it breaks the mapping apart. What am I doing wrong? When I press Save and Continue even after mapping one at a time, it never saves my new mappings. Right now, I have 10 unmapped units and I can’t see the dashboard comparisons until they’re all mapped.

See data from one survey while filtering on another survey

I have 2 surveys that are linked in the same dashboard. In both surveys I have a question with a 1 to 5 rating.I would like to have a filter that applies only on data from survey 1, but that allows me to still see data from survey 2.Example: If I select 5, in the filter I will show me data from both surveys, where the user have selected 5 in survey 1.Is this possible?I get that when I set the filter to 5 it will by default only see data from survey 1, but wanted to know if this can somehow still be linked?

How do I send multiple surveys to manager of new hires?

Goal: Use Lifecycle Surveys (EX) to automate surveys to managers of new hires. The surveys are used to assess the recruiting process.My Environment: My Directory is auto-populated nightly. Automation is set up on my manager project to pull in managers who recently hired an employee. I have Message Automation set up to send messages weekly. I can't create multiple user profiles for a manager, because manager user profiles are used with our SSO login for dashboard viewing. Use Case 1: I have a survey sent to managers one week before their new hire starts. I want to be able to send the survey to these managers when they've hired a second (or third or fourth) employee at a later date. The Problem: By default. Message Automation only sends messages to participants whose Project Status is Not Complete. So, anyone who has a second new hire will be in one of two scenarios:They completed their previous survey. The Message Automation won't send them a new link because their Project Status is Com

Creating a new EX project vs. copying an existing project

Hello! We created an EX25 survey in May 2023 and copied the project for two more surveys in August and November 2023. Should we continue that approach since our questions, logic, design, dashboards, etc. are already built (which would help greatly with efficiency!), or should we start from scratch and create a new EX25 project? I’m curious about the risks of copying the project, since that is what we intend to do for our upcoming May survey as the questions, logic, etc. will largely stay the same.Thanks!

EX Idea Boards - Access across managers

In EX (Employee Engagement) I can give managers the permission to create idea boards for improvement actions. If I understood the system correctly, every manager creates their own board. Correct? Is there a way (for me as an admin) to get access to those idea boards of all managers and to ideally get a consolidated board with all ideas across all managers? Thanks,Manfred

Moving participants from one project to another in EX

Hello Experts, I am looking for a solution, so that I can allow other local admins to fetch one or more participants based on email ids from one project to another. I cannot allow them to import from EX Global directory as it has other data as well.Is there any solution for this issue?

EX - Compare Response Rate Year on Year

Hi Team,I am after some help with displaying response rates in the EX dashboard from a previous year. Our team want to be able to see the different in response rate from 2020 in our 2021 dashboard. The response widgets (participation summary, response rates) do not allow you to add a filter or specify a data source so I'm not able to use this to show our 2020 data. I can also not add it as a benchmark or a comparison as far as I can see. Is there a way to display the 2020 response rate in this dashboard?The only thing i've been able to do so far is a simple table using a count with a filter for 2020 and 2021, so we can compare # of responses but this doesn't allow for a response rate % comparison. Automate dashboard user setup based off the response to a certain question

I am building an internal survey at my company to capture feedback about the technology we use internally. It consists of two questions:A multiple choice question with a dropdown of 50 pieces of tech to choose from (“Which technology solution would you like to provide feedback about?”) A text box question where the survey-taker can give their feedback (“What feedback do you have about this technology solution?”)The problem comes when I try to figure out how to automate dashboard user access based on the response to the first question. For example, if “’Workday” is selected in the first question, then that feedback is visible in a dashboard for John Doe who is in charge of Workday.The only things I read about in Q’s Support pages talk about dashboard user automation based on embedded data only … so is it even possible to automate dashboard user setup based off the response to a certain question?

Is there an endpoint available to either export hierarchy or get response counts per unit/hierarchy? I believe we can download from UI but want to see if there is an option available to programmatically download the results

How many data sources can you have in EX dashboards

Hello community, I cannot read anything specific so hoping someone has the answer. In EX projects, how many data sources (projects) can you map into a dashboard? I’ve seen community message for CX that says as many as you like, but is that the same for EX.  Am I ok with adding upto 16 from different learning feedback surveys?

Dashboard data partially shows in wrong language

Hi, Q. community,I ´m new Q. EX Technology consultant and I have a problem with displaying page filters data on the dashboard.We imported dashboard data translation to six languages. All columns with proper language translation (One of them is Croatian). When I set the platform language to EN, and adding the page filter, I see the dashboard data in Croatian and the same in other platform account languages.It seems as the default language is Croatian instead of the EN. See the mixture of the Croatian and English. When I export the data file there are missing data in Croatian column and in EN column is partially Croatian translations. When I import corrected translation it happens again.Any idea why the import dashboard data translation does not work correctly? Thanks Pavel

Issue with sms distribution

Dear colleagues from EX,I hope you are well. I am reaching out to inquire if any of you have encountered a situation where, during the distribution of surveys via SMS, the sent history and consumed credits reflect successful transmission, but the message never reaches its intended recipient?I would greatly appreciate your insights and any suggestions on how to address this issue. Is there any additional step that should be taken to ensure that messages are delivered correctly?I look forward to your feedback and appreciate any guidance you can provide.

I know how to upload employee/manager info for dashboard delegate access, but is there not a way to do this manually within the hierarchy as well for when we have one off requests?  If there is, can someone point me in the right direction please.

Can Action Planning Guidance be uploaded?

Does all of the action planning guidance really have to be entered manually??  And if so is there an enhancement in the works to allow for uploads?  It’s a very time-consuming task that I sure hope carries over when the project is copied.

List of Eligible Users as Dropdown Options

Hi! I am creating an always-on “suggestion box” of sorts where employees can give suggestions to other employees. For this, I envisioned a question like “Please select the employee from the dropdown menu whom you’d like to give a suggestion to.” The issue: The dropdown options need to be a list of all active users in our Qualtrics instance. How do I get this to work?

How To Filter a Dashboard by Common Topics Across Questions?

Hello, I’m currently working on a dashboard for a recent survey. The survey included two free-response questions: one asking about positive aspects and the other about areas for improvement. To analyze the responses effectively, I created Text iQ topics that are consistent across both questions.However, I’m facing a challenge: I want to filter the page to display only responses that include a specific topic. Currently, I can only filter by one question’s topics. Since respondents often provide pros and cons related to different topics, comparing specific topics becomes tricky. I believe this feature would be valuable in other dashboards as well. Does anyone have suggestions on how to achieve this without filtering each individual widget?

Load EX25 Guided Action Plans?

Should I create an idea, or does anyone else have a solution to mass load the EX25 Action Plan Guide tips into their Suggested Actions in their Dashboard? Last admin we had a consultant company so they just typed them all in (painfully). So, I was curious if you could mass load without typing it all in some how?Seems like Qualtrics could pre-load them? Or do they do that if you keep the question linked?

Automatic Import from Global Directory Engagement Survey

Hi, This note would fit perfect for my project except that it’s not applicable for Engagement Survey types https://www.qualtrics.com/support/employee-experience/creating-ee-project/participants-tab/participants-ee/participant-import-automation-el/ Get data from Employee Directory > Filter based on criteria > Auto Update Participants list An automation piece can be set to create a workflow which imports file from the SFTP and then loads to the Global directory which is counterintuitive because why have 2 automations to load. Even so, the filter part would be missing. Wouldn’t want to exclude specific accounts every single day manually. Any way to automate this?

Comparison colour pallete

Hello community, Curious to know if anyone has asked the question as a result of confused clients. When using an EX dashboard, scorecard widget and turning on comparisons, the comparison colour scheme red/green is displayed opposite to what is seen to be intuitively. If the comprisons score is higher than the total (favourable bars), then this is shown red, and where the comparison is lower, its green. Personally I find this confusing and contradictory. Is there anyway to reverse the colours so green = positive, favourable and higher, vs red = negative, unfavourable or lower. Curious to hear what others think.Simon

remind non-respondents to anonymous survey

Can I have reminders sent to non-responders of an anonymous survey? Or do I need to make it confidential? Or does that not work either?That would require having a personal link for each response, without connecting the answers to that link--many e-learning systems have that option, but I am trying to see whether qualtrics does that. Hard to find the information anywhere.So a non-anonymous link with anonymous responses...Niels
