Hi samarth12 I don't remember what I did, but I think that it was related to the fact that it was the first page of the survey. If I'm not mistaken, once there was a different page before that, it was OK. I hope you'll be ablt to solve this!

I ended up adding a global variable "timerOn" in the preceding block, and in my block I checked at the begining of addOnLoad whether this variable is true or false - only if it's false I started all the timer coding. I turn it to true when the timer starts, and back to false when time is over.

TomG I encountered the same issue now (timer + force response) and wondered whether there is a "timeOver" inherent function that represent the real timing-question timer. In my case, I already have a last response of "I don't know" (not hidden) for each question, which I'd be happy to select by default whenever the timer is up, for each question that was not answered by the user.Should I implement a new timer for this or is there any way to "listen" to the already existing timing question's timer?Thanks in advance!
Thanks TomG !I'm not really redirecting, it's just that the external page is kept open (it is an Amazon Mechanical Turk), and then it's the respondents' responsibility to go back after they finish the Qualtrics survey, and do some work there. So I guess the URL parameters option is less suitable here... if I understood it correctly.
Thanks rondev !All the respondents get the link in an enxternal website. Then, after each completion of the stuvet, I want to know what was the embedded data value given to him/her, so that I can do something in the external website. I've never used the Qualtrics API and wondered whether I can get the value for a specific respondent...

Thanks again TomG for your response.I wrote a web service in Python and I'm now able to call it from within my survey flow.I do have a follow up question - is there a way to avoid creating variables per each observation (1.id, 1.name, 1.address and then again 2.id, 2.name, 2.address etc.) and manually editing the Loop and Merge values table? I mean - is there an optimzed way to get the input json from the web service and create those variables "on the fly" when reaching the loop and merge block?I saw one solution suggested in the following link - https://support.wharton.upenn.edu/help/qualtrics-json-servicewhich I can implement, but I wonder if there's a more efficient way to do this (i.e., not creating 100 * number of fields variables...)Thanks in advance!

npetrov937 and gametheoryguy93 Could you please publish how to do this in js? I'm not very familiar with js coding and I have a similar issue now with Qualtrics. In addition - can the vector be filled from a csv file? Specificly, I have a dataset saved in a csv, where each observation (row) has some columns. Then, when I randomly select 20 out of 80, for example, I choose 20 rows and then I use all the columns' values of these rows [e.g. I display to the user a name, then an ID, then an address etc. - so multiple values are extracted for each selectd row]. What's the best way to do this? Thanks in advance!
