Is there a way of restricting the survey to mobile devices only?
Is it possible to use the information that a respondent fills in in one question and automatically project that in a following question? And is it possible for the survey to tailor follow-up questions or text depending on a respondent's chosen answer earlier in the survey?
Hello Qulatrics community, I am looking to use dates in basic calculaitons for display logic and validation. I have entered a static date (e.g., "Date" = 12/10/2018) into embedded data and attempted the code below, but the piped text shows up blank. I was told by qualtrics support to try the community to see if there is a way to modify a static date (not a moveable date like ${date://OtherDate/SL/-2%20day}) so that I can set a single date and then use code/syntax to update a series of other entries such as those below. Response options: Journal Entry 1 for ${e://Field/Date} Journal Entry 2 for ${e://Field/Date+1} Journal Entry 3 for ${e://Field/Date+2} Journal Entry 4 for ${e://Field/Date+3} etc. I know that we can simply enter manually in every date, but with multiple data collections having a single or set of dates that I can enter where all other entries will be updated around them would be very helpful. Thanks for any help you can provide!
Hello! I've searched for this and I couldn't find an exact answer, but it seems like it should be pretty straightforward. I've embedded a YouTube video in my survey. I want to check how many times the participant has clicked "replay" on the video. When I record clicks on the page, it records all clicks so that doesn't necessarily mean they clicked on the video! Is there a way to only record how many times they hit replay? Thank you!!
Hello everyone, I'm new to the custom code of Qualtrics thus need detailed help with launching a lexical decision task on Qualtrics. I've got the example code from jspsych, and I have my own customzied word list. I've seen many quotes to different webpages and got really confused. I'm not sure if I will quote the "libraries" in the CSS and need an external web server to save the data (or maybe I can save the data as a csv file in Qualtrics? But then how do I download the data)? Essentially, I need a step-by-step guide on how to make the example code work on Qualtrics. Any help is much appreciated!
Hello everyone, I have a loop and merge block where I generate different images in the addOnReady function. Since the loop runs the same code, I have only one embedded data field, I called it 'userChoice1' and the code I used is: `Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addEmbeddedData('userChoice1', confirmFinal() );` I want to record the variable 'userChoice1' in every single iteration of the loop, but I can only record the last one with this code. Can this embedded field be like a array where I can push in data on every loop? Thanks. userChoice1 is also set as a "Number Set" type embedded data. Thanks!
I have a list of unique codes set as embedded data, and I would need to verify whether the answer to the first question matches any code in this list. It seems qualtrics does not do "exact match". That is, suppose the embedded data is called "codeList", and i set it to = ABA2, ABC3, then when I enter "A" in the first question, it is considered a "match" because A is part of the list. How to make qualtrics to do exact match? !
I want to make the images in my Heat Map based questionnaire appear the actual same size (i.e. in cm) on any computer monitor used by a participant. Could someone point me in the right direction?
In my current survey, I have a constant sum question with 20+ answer options. I am asking respondents to input the percentage of time (0 - 100) they spend across 20+ daily activities. I want to then ask a number of follow-up questions regarding the activities that they spend most of their time on. The current options with qualtrics allow me to carry forward answers that are greater than a certain amount from that constant sum question. Although this is a potential solution, it does not solve my problem perfectly (think of selecting 10% as my greater than amount and having individuals allocate all their time on single digit % increments, etc.). Most of my follow-up questions will be matrix tables. Is there any way to pull forward the top 5 answers from a prior constant sum based on the inputted values from the respondent? Thanks ahead of time for the help!
