I want to run an experiment where the participants have to click on the right boxes of a matrix question in the right order. The first approach that came into my mind was to track the timestampts of each click and if (suppose that the right boxes were clicked) time_1
Hey, I am constructing an attention task game where the respondents have to choose three elements in a matrix question. I would like to implement that they leave this page automatically after the, e.g., third or fourth click. Unfortunately, I do not know how to tackle this problem using JS.I would be very glad if anyone has an idea!
I'd like to randomize the order of question blocks but the aim is that the randomized order is the same for every participant. How can I do this?
I would like to skip to the end of the block when the third click in a matrix question is made. Therefore, I wrote a simple JS code with a counter variable, and set an pre-defined embedded data element to the value of the counter once it has the value 3. Is it possible to let the skip logic be based on this embedded data element?Is there a smarter way of doing this?
I have a matrix question and if, e.g. the checkbox in the first row and first column is checked, I want to set an embedded element to that time. How can I implement this?I have something like this in mind:Pseude Code:if (checkbox in first row/first column is checked) {var timestamp = Date.now();Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData('t1', timestamp);}
I want to implement a memory game in Qualtrics. Originally, using VS Code, the game consists of a JavaScript file, CSS file and a HTML document. The game can be played by running the HTML document, while the folder with the corresponding graphics is loaded in VS Code. I know that I can add JS code to a question, custom CSS in the design section and HTML by using the rich content editor. Now, I struggle with accessing the graphics that I loaded in my Qualtrics library in JS code. Can anyone help?
The JS program sets the value of a variable to the value of a specific embedded data field. Regardless of what the program does in detail, the value of the variable changes. I would like to update the value of the embedded data field by the value of the variable. How can I do this?
I would like to fix a visible countdown / timer at the top while the participants of the survey make multiple text entries. Within one block I would like to separate the text entries by page breaks but the same countdown should be visible all the time; e.g. the countown is 4 minutes and they have to make 30 text entries, then I do not want to have 30 countdown of 8 seconds per entry but 4 minutes overall. Can anyone help?
Hey guys,in a survey participants are supposed to solve computational problems and their payment is supposed to differ by their rank. What I have in mind is to implement a branch logic based on their rank and to save the payment as a variable. Unfortunately, I do not know how to implement a ranking which is based on a scoring while the session has not terminated. Do you have an idea?
