Is there a way to visualize clusters using scatter charts?

Hi. I have what amounts to about an hour or so of tediously typing about 150 embedded variables into a survey. (basically to take question responses and put them into universal variables that are easily parsed by our analytics software). Has anyone created some sort of editor to do this on a .qsf file? I could figure out how to do a cut/paste, but need to make sure it's error free : -) Or a guide to a .qsf file structure would be helpful. Thanks!
Community members, Is there an easy way to replace the word "Item" above a list of choices to another more descriptive word for a Pick Group Rank question? Would like to be able to do this on a per question basis. Thanks as always!
I need to create weights in-survey for rank-order in drag/drop ranking questions. Example, rate these car brands on safety: BMW, Volvo, Ford, Kia,BToyota The #1 ranked car gets a weight of 1, 2nd ranked a weight of .75, 3rd ranked a weight of .5, 4th a weight of .25, 5th a weight of 0. These weights will be stored in embedded variables like BMW_Safety_Weight, Volvo_Safety Weight, etc. How can I do this using javascript? Thanks! Extra credit: We have an embedded variable called BrandCount (between 2 and 10 brands) The above example is a 5 point scale, for 5 brands. If 4 brands were to be ranked, the weights would be 1, .67, .33, 0. Ideally we'd like to apply the weighting scale that corresponds to the BrandCount, but I can figure that out later. As always, your help is greatly appreciated!
First of all, this is a great forum and we appreciate all the input. When we are usng the drag / group question where we don't care about rank order, we'd like to suppress the blue background / white font rank symbol. We don't want to mistakenly assume the response options need to be in a certain order. (We have other cases in the same survey where we don't want to suppress the symbol) Any suggestions greatly appreciated! Tom
Hi al1 I have 5 vendors I'm ranking across 10 criteria, and want to score each vendor's rank for each criteria in an embedded variable. I need to do this because I need to do the scoring math in-survey. Is there a way to do this without creating a zillion IF branches? So vendor_a_criteria_1, vendor_a_criteria_2... vendor_a_criteria_10, vendor_b_criteria_1, vendor_b_criteria_2... Alternate thought - can this be done real time using the API? This would be a bit of a hassle for us as we'd need to develop a program to do the math...
Hi All. I have a use case where I'd like to use an API to calculate something while a respondent takes a survey, so I can provide them a score before the end of the survey. I know how to use math functions within the survey, but this would be a case where it would be better to do the calculations out of survey (during the survey). Hi. I have a question where there are 10 choices and they can be dragged or dropped into one of two boxes, or not. I need to be able to count how many are in one of the boxes because that number will be used later in the survey in a calculation. I can't seem to come up with an easy way to do it. Any help on this appreciated!
Hi. I would like the drag and drop height to always be equal to the number of choices PLUS one blank space. It requires some dexterity for instance, to place a 5th choice at the bottom of a box that is the right height for four choices. How can I do this? JavaScript or CSS? If so, any code snippet would be greatly appreciated!
Hi Using the grouping function for ranking questions (Drag and drop 3 attributes from a list of 10 into a box). It's creating a .xlsx card for each of the 10 attribute choices , which creates a tremendous headache of having to cut and pasting all 10 worksheets into one in order to create charts. Is there a better way to do this? Seems crazy that the data for a single question wouldn't be organized into a single excel worksheet. The data is grouped comma delimeted when downloading the whole .csv file... Thanks!
Hi. We have a short questionnaire where we'd like to show text summary of their answers at the end of the survey. The summary would be a text list. If possible, we'd also like to have an easy way they could edit a response by re-showing the question right there w/o having to use back button to go to the question, then forward button to get back to the summary. Any inputs on best way to go about this would be greatly appreciated. (not sure why the random bold / large font text shows below - removed it and it still displays) Example Here are the answers you provided: of apples: 6 Number of apples: 6 Apple types you like (this would be a multiple choice, select all that apply question) Etc.
