Hi, I have a 5-point Likert scale question in my survey. When I export the data and analyze the outputs of this question I am seeing values of 6. Does anyone understand why Qualtrics is outputting a higher value than the scale? Thanks
I am interested in adding a text highlighting feature where survey participants can highlight certain parts of text and then answer questions about the text they highlighted. The highlighted text and associated responses should then be stored for later review. Can I use JavaScript in Qualtrics to implement a custom feature like this? Or are there limitations to customizations we can make?

Hi. I am trying to make a custom feature where participants highlight text that has been pulled from a server. I am using the Qualtrics highlight question, and at the moment I am able to display the text from the server in the question, but not able to populate the section where the highlighting feature is enabled. Please see photo for reference. ! The text from the top half of the photo in bullet points was pulled from a server, but you cannot highlight any of the text there. The paragraph in the bottom half of the photo was copy pasted in to the section where highlighting is enabled. Is there a way to populate this section with text from a server using Javascript? Thanks for your help!
Hi, I am trying to create a custom question where participants highlight segments of text and answer questions about the text. I had the following questions about JavaScript capabilities in Qualtrics: Can we use our own Javascript libraries? Can we AJAX POST to external API or use our own AWS server/endpoint? What's the lag time in publishing the custom JS code from the time we hit save? Would the custom questions be enabled for JFE? Thanks in advance!
