Hi all, I've seen a few posts about creating a tool tip when using a mobile device but I'm still having difficulty. I want to create a tool tip for answer choices - where a hint pops up when you hover over/click on a word in the answer choices. A tooltip for the desktop version was easy - it’s a simple case of adding the short code <span style ="font-size:11px; "><span title= "pop up hint" >in-text word</span></span> in the gap where you put one of the possible answers. (Annoyingly, I wanted you see the code there but it creates the tooltip instead -sorry!). However, I am really struggling to get the mobile version working. On another thread, someone mentioned the following website, which appears to have pretty clear step-by-step instructions. https://osvaldas.info/elegant-css-and-jquery-tooltip-responsive-mobile-friendly I cut-and-pasted the CSS code into Look and Feel / Style / Custom CSS code I then cut-and-pasted the Javascript into the Adva
I decided to merge two Qualtrics surveys together by uploading blocks from one survey to the library and then importing it into another survey. I first noticed that page breaks were not included in the blocks that were imported. This is annoying but I added them to the relevant blocks. However, now, even though they are added, all the questions are still on one page rather than one question per page. I attempted to fix this problem by going to look and feel and changing the settings to one question per page. However, this has just caused another problem. Now, the timer function (Timing question) that automatically advances the next question after 120 seconds no longer works because, I guess, technically they are two questions. Now there is one question per page, the timer is on a separate page to the questions I want the timer to work with. This results in the page not auto-advancing. Overall, it's super frustrating, as when the surveys were separate, everything worked well. Any help
I have two groups of questions A and B. I want to ask one question in turn from each group ABABA. However, I want the questions to be randomised within the groups- drawing one question randomly from group A, then one randomly from group B, then one from group A etc. Is there a way I can do this? Thanks!
I have a block of 24 Qs all on the same page. I want it to auto-advance after 4 minutes but not before. So far, I have added a timer function at the beginning, counting down from 4 mins, and auto advancing thereafter. I have also hidden the next button with JS code on the first and the last questions (I didn't know which to put it on). This does auto-advance after 4 minutes. The problem is that if you answer the last question (24) at any point before the 4 minutes are up, it auto advances to the next page. I want to delay any advance until the 4 minutes are up. Can anyone help please? Thank you very much!
I've saved a block to the library as I'd like to integrate it into other surveys. But now the block has been imported, the timing function doesn't work -auto advance and timing countdown. When I hover over the timer settings bit of the question, a small, red no-available icon appears. Could anyone help with this please? Thanks!Neil
I have a simple four-question block, but I don't want to allow the participant to move on until they have got 100% correct, i.e. I want them to repeat the block of four questions as many times as it takes to get all the answers right How can I do that? Thank you in advance!
