Hi everyone, I’m trying to understand if there’s a workaround to still make this happen, after confirming with Qualtrics support that it can’t be done with an embedded data value from the contact list. What I’d like to do is have the “From Name” in an email distribution be unique to the recipient. I don’t need the “From Address” or “Reply-to Email” to change, just the “From Name.” For example, if a contact list had an account manager field for every contact, that name would appear as the sender. This doesn’t seem like such a niche thing, so I’m surprised it’s not an option. Any off-the-wall suggestions?
I see on the support page that the Last Question field won't be included when downloading in-progress responses, but I'm curious why? Obviously this exists in the response data and it would be incredibly helpful to have in an export.
Hi everyone,I feel like this must be possible, but I’ve yet to find a working solution. I need the following behavior, using an anonymous link:authenticate via Google OAuth SSO, capture email address: if a respondent is taking the survey for the first time and their email address is not in the associated contact list: collect response trigger workflow after submission to add info to the associated contact list if a respondent is taking the survey again and the captured email address is found in the associated contact list: authenticator recognizes that they’re in the associated contact list end of survey element redirects to a retake link, using their previous response ID update info in the associated contact list The new user flow seems to be pretty straightforward, but I can’t seem to get the redirect → retake process to work properly for returning respondents. Any help would be appreciated!
I'm curious if, after having created a sample from a contact list, I can add individual contacts to the sample. It's easy to do this if I'd like to add contacts to another list, but there doesn't seem to be a way to add them to a sample. Example use case: If I have a list of contacts for all US-based companies and create samples for each sales region, what if I want to add a contact that may appear in multiple regions, or maybe I simply forgot one that I wanted to add that may not have met the original sampling criteria? I don't want to try to resample with additional, increasingly confusing logic, just to add one or two more contacts. Is this possible?
I have a Form Field question with several fields and I'd like to make the boxes appear taller and wider than the default. The editor allows me to do this pretty seamlessly, but no matter which template I try for the survey, the height adjustment to the boxes is never respected. The length adjusts properly. Is there something else I need to do to make this work as expected?
I've added a Meta Info Question to a new copy of a survey that has been translated into multiple languages. I'm now seeing the ExpertReview caution icon on the question indicating that there's an incomplete translation, pointing to the Meta Info Question. Is there something I actually need to do, or is this just bad design? I can't imagine I need to translate something like this, but the flag is driving me nuts.
I'm building a survey that has three separate question blocks and logic to display one, two, or all three of them, depending on embedded data passed in at the beginning. If multiple blocks appear for a respondent, they are always in the same order. I'm looking for a way to do something like: IF: this is the last block in the survey that the respondent will see, change the submit button to "Submit". ELSE: keep it as an arrow.Any suggestions for how to pull this off? I found a couple of questions about conditional buttons based on question choice, but that seemed too far off the mark. Thank you!
