Hi RyanBrickman,Will the URL always need to be shared at the same point in the survey (e.g. an approval step once the first person submits)? If so, you might like to look at retake links. We do this with one of our forms - once the first person submits it, an Action generates a retake link via email (either to the first person, or to the second person as approver), and they can then access the link with the previous responses saved. We then also have display logic so that extra fields are only visible on the retake. As far as I know, you can't simply add the ? followed by customer name in the URL - you will need to specify some kind of Embedded Data field for it. There's some more information available here but for example you might have your URL and then ?Customer=GeneralMotors - this tells Qualtrics that you have a field called Customer, with the value GeneralMotors. You will then need to tell the survey to capture this information (using Survey Flow). I still don't think this will al
RyanBrickman if the actions are showing as sent, it makes me think that it might be a delivery issue at the other end. Are you sending from a custom domain? We send from our organisation domain but had to ensure this was set up with whitelisting so that emails were delivered. Perhaps it's an issue with the email client rather than Qualtrics sending it?I would suggest trying to send it to a Hotmail (or similar) account with less security just to make sure it's not getting stuck in a spam filter or something?
It sounds really silly but check the language of the email message against the language of the survey. I've been tripped up before on my survey being English (US) and my messages being English (UK) and it caused all sorts of problems!I haven't specifically experienced this issue with Actions but I have had it before in End of Survey and other messages.
If you revised an old survey, it might be owned by someone else and when they shared it with you they may not have shared distribution rights. If you want to duplicate the survey into a new project, go to your Projects list and on the right hand side click the ... and one of the options should be copy survey. However, if the original owner didn't give you that permission, that option might be greyed out (or non existent). If my suspicion is correct about someone else owning the survey project, you'll need to track down who owns it - check in with your Brand Admin for that. They may also be able to transfer the survey ownership to you (and then you can hold all the power!!)
Hi everyone,My name is Ashleigh and I work for Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Been here for just over 2 years now and have been using Qualtrics since day one. My team started out with using it just for evaluating our workshop experience in our professional development modules and keep expanding into new uses as time goes on!I've loved the Community pages for useful tips and looking forward to finding out more cool things I can do with the Qualtrics platform into the future :)Cheers,Ashleigh
Hi Muqaibil,Is there a reason you need to have separate surveys for each activity? We have done a similar survey based on a collection of embedded data in the contact list and then simply enabling display logic based on the embedded data.E.g. if there are 3 activities, you have an embedded data field and a corresponding question block for "Activity 1", "Activity 2", "Activity 3", etc. You can then use display logic to only display the "Activity 3" question block if the embedded data field for "Activity 3" for that contact is not blank.Cheers,Ashleigh
