Thanks AdamK12.Maybe my explanation was not clear enough. I am already using the choice randomization but I would like to also control for those respondents that just quickly click always in the same spot (or always right or always left), so I can exclude them inmediately from the study. Is there a way that I can a priori tell Qualtrics that when a respondent is always chossing the right or left or center option, to exclude them?
@Grahulp5: This actually doesnt work, as what it does is to put a cookie in your browser and many experience respondents know how to easily get ride of it. @AhmedA: Thank you for this idea, but at the end our team figure out a way without additional software. We just created an additional survey with an authenticator. Who fails the authenticator is automatically redirected to the survey (because is the first time they entered). Who is authenticated, then is kicked out. If you want additional details I am happy to share. Thanks to both!
Thank you for your suggestion. However I closed the mobile part before starting the preview mode and this also happended even outside the preview mode and in different browsers. I have even managed to understand that it happends because of the autoplay="true" at the begining of the code. But withouth this, the video doesnt starts. For now, I found a different way to not allowing people to control the video after clicking play (https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/comment/23181#Comment_23181). But without the autoplay. With the autoplay, I have not found an alternative.
Thank you Nihal. I also will try to look into it. Best regards, Emilia
Thank you NiC! I look forward to hearing from you.
Hello, I just tried this suggestion and the survey link you shared (Is it still working?). In my case, neither of both worked. Are there any limitations to the browser or maybe something changed in Qualtrics? Thank you
Thank you! It works!
Dear all, I have tried all the suggestions but something is not working out properly because nothing happends to my question. The question is a 5 single choice question with images. I attached an example image on how it should look. My main concern is that the people after selecting their choice can also introduce in some text box (that appears after) the amount they would like to buy. So, I figure how the make the text box appear after click, but I do not have yet figure how to add a display of text like "how many gramms/pounds you would like to buy?". Then it would be great if the person can see how much they are paying for it. I would appreciate if you could clarify me what I am missing to use your beautiful codes. Thank you. Here is the Image: !
Hello all, I have to say your code worked perfectly. I just have two questions. How can I improve your code so the following two things happen: 1) If I select one alternative, it displays the text box, but then if I select another alternative the first textbox doesnt dissapear. And if I wrote something in the first selected textbox, then the questionnaire doesnt let me go forward because it realizes that there is text in an option that was not selected. Is there a way to cancell any text written in non selected options and to hide them after they were unselected? 2) How can I add some additional text that shows with the textbox only after click? In my case my single choice are images, but I would like to display "how many would you like to buy?" only after the selection of the image has been made. Is this possible somehow? Thank you
