One clickable choise per column in a multplie choice likert question

Thanks guys! Transposing the table works but I forgot to mention - one of the options is an "Other" (please put text), and I'm not able to do that by transposing. Is there an easy fix? Thanks!

@bansalpeeyush29 thanks, but I don't want the options to be all clickable. I want the respondent to only be able to click on THREE but on multiple quesitons in the same page.

Load text option for multiple choice (single and multiple answer) on click

@Mohammedali_Rajapakar_Ugam I want the "text-box" to appear for every option chosen. Its a question with 8 options, all of which have text entries that pop up (through JQuery) only if the choice is clicked. However, the "text-box" appears between the selected choices. I want to have the text box appear below all the options, regardless of which option is clicked, without having to create a new question.

Do you know of any way that I could have a text box pop up below the options (in the same question) but just be one box instead of multiple that show up between choices? Also, in terms of grouping, is there any way to keep grouping (with labels) in horizontal or column? Thanks!

@Shashi for some I was, for others I was using the single choice! @Mohammedali_Rajapakar_Ugam helped me by using either checkbox or radio as type, and that worked out perfectly, thanks!

@Mohammedali_Rajapakar_Ugam Let me elaborate: I have one question that has 5 options, the last of which has a text entry. The JQuery for that one works perfectly: when it loads, there is no texty entry. When I select the last one, the text entry appears. When I deselect, it disappears. And that one comes after two display logic questions, on the third page. However, on the fourth page, there are two questions that come from another extra display logic that should have 6 options (but that might change) each with a text entry. However, when the page loads the text entries either already show up (when I make them medium size) or they never show up at all but force validation doesn't let me move on as I haven't typed anything. Do you know what's going on?

@Mohammedali_Rajapakar_Ugam For confidentiality reasons I am unable to do that, unfortunately. What happens with those questions is that when I click the text entry does not appear but then I can't move on because of the force response, which asks for a response on the text entry.

@Mohammedali_Rajapakar_Ugam the survey is working yes, but for some reason when I copy the query to the questions in my own, it doesn't work. The questions have between 5-6 options, all with text entries with force response. They are part of display logics and I used the multiple choice, multiple answer question. Also for some reason if I change the text entry from small to medium instead of not displaying any (even on click) it displays all of them from load. Does that help?

@Shashi thanks! However, what I have is basically 5 options and a 6th which is none of the above. I want them to be able to select max three, but to be able to select "a fourth" only if its none of the above because then it will delesect the other three. Is this even possible at all? Thanks!

Thanks @SaurabhPujare_Ugam and @Shashi. I am in between three types, and I just wanted to know if there was a easy way out. I've listed my three options below, thanks! Type 1: Side-by-side to prioritize The choices in the dropdown are Priority 1, 2, and 3, but I want to be able to limit respondents to 1 of each priority BEFORE them trying to move on. As in, if they choose Priority 1 for one option and then for another, the survey either stops him or removes the last option Priority 1 he had. ! Type 2: Matrix Likert single answer with 3 columns I want to validate by columns BEFORE users trying to move on. As in only letting them choose 1 option per column, and if they click on a second one in the same column it just changes to the new one. ! Type 3: Rank and Order text vertical I want them to write 1, 2, and/or 3 but not to be able to write any other numbers or write multiple of the same ones. I have the validation that doesn't let them move on in case they do this, but I want to be

Thanks @NiC_Ugam and @Shashi both codes worked! Just a quick Q: in the options, one of them is "none of the above", which in qualtric's own software automatically unclicks other options if it is chosen. However, with the codes whenever they should click on none of the above it can't because its limited to 3. Is there any way to add a line of code that if they click a specific option it unlicks the rest?
