I have a a scoring system set up that outputs scores 0-50. For the purpose of data analysis and making graphs, I would like to categorise these into three ranges: Low, Moderate, High. I’ve tried ‘bucketing’ etc. but it won’t allow me to bucket scores, only fields. Is there a way to do this in Qualtrics? Ie. create a new variable called ‘level’ which outputs: Low, Moderate, High based on the score.Thank you.
Hello, I would like to create a simple way to see how long participants took to complete each block of questions.Currently, I have timing questions set up for each page, but have export all of the data and spend ages playing with it in Excel to be able to get the summary I need. I have also tried to create reports, but there are a lots of page timings to add and edit to show the relevant data (I only care about the Page Submit timing).Ideally, I'd like a report that has the min, max, mean timing for each question, organised by block, and then a final total row for that block. Even just the final block totals would be helpful for now! Like this, but with many more questions!:The blocks are also within a table of content which has prevented me using a few other methods I've tried. Is there any way to do this? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!Best,Ben
Hello, At the end of each of my blocks I have a summary page of the block's content. I would like to include a button at the bottom that participants can press to have the summary page emailed to them. Is this possible? I currently have a 'print page' button, but email would be better. This has to be available after each block, not at the end of the survey.Best,Ben
I have a question whereby respondents select 2 options. I would then like to pipe the two options they choose into the text of the next question:Question 23:Question 24:'How is a {1st object} related to a {2nd object}?'Is there a way to do this? Many thanks, Ben
Hello,In Q1, the participants are asked to write down 6 responses.Q2 then asks participants to sort their responses from Q1 into two categories:In Q3, I would like to pipe in the responses they gave for each group:'You said that {responseA}, {responseB}, and {responseC} were Towards. You said that {responseD}, {responseE}, and {responseF} were Away.'ie. be able to only show the items that were put in each group. Is there a way to do this?Best,Ben
I've designed a six-module course using Qualtrics whereby each module is a block and should take a week to complete. Is there a way of 'locking' the next block so that it is only available to complete a week after the previous one has been completed?I'd ideally like to have it automatically unlock, but I don't mind doing it manually if needed. Is there a way to do this?
In Q211, users are asked to select as many qualities as they like:In Q450, I'd like them to then select their three favourite qualities to of they ones they previous chose. Ie. a multiple-choice question with exactly the responses they had previously chose. I am able to pipe in the individual responses from Q211 as options in Q450, but the number of options will need to be the same as the number of qualities chosen in Q211. Otherwise there are blanks, or some qualities are ignored. Is there a way to do this?Thank you!
