Categorise scores

I have a a scoring system set up that outputs scores 0-50. For the purpose of data analysis and making graphs, I would like to categorise these into three ranges: Low, Moderate, High. I’ve tried ‘bucketing’ etc. but it won’t allow me to bucket scores, only fields.

Is there a way to do this in Qualtrics? Ie. create a new variable called ‘level’ which outputs: Low, Moderate, High based on the score.

Thank you.

Embedded data.  In survey flow, set an embedded data field based on the ranges you’ve mentioned.

So if 0-19.9999 is low, you’d create a condition in survey flow that sets a new field as low.  Etc., etc.

For surveys already collected, you’ll want to either manually correct this field or download the data, enter the buckets, then re-upload.
