I need to create a CX Dashboard visualization of data collected as part of hand hygiene rounding in a side by side question type. The question has the opportunity for auditors to provide up to 5 observations at a time (we don’t always have data for all 5 observations). Each observation has a rating of compliant or non-compliant and the role of the associated individual for each observation (e.g., compliant nursing staff member who washed hands after interacting with a patient). The role dropdown includes a set of 6 different role options. Here’s how the questions is built: In an ideal world, we would like to have a compliance rating by role calculated across all observations for a specific domain (e.g., After interacting with patient/client), but I can’t seem to figure out how to do that. I’ve calculated compliance ratings in aggregate across all observations, but don’t know how to fold in breaking down the aggregate compliance ratings by role. Does anyone have any suggestions on what
Since widgets in Results Dashboards of surveys don’t have the same robust flexibility as those in Dashboards, I had to build a widget in a Dashboard to best visualize some results (namely, I had to leverage combining the data into a group so I could show all statements of a matrix in one vertical bar chart). In this instance, I prefer to use the Results Dashboard of the survey rather than a separate Dashboard because it’s more accessible for those accessing the data, plus I can use the “public” dashboard option within Results to post it outside of Qualtrics. Is there a way to display a visualization from a larger Dashboard within a Results Dashboard? I know there are embed codes, but I’m not sure that’s even feasible within the Results section since I think it’s really intended for embedding on third party sites. Alternatively, I know I can export an image of the visualization and display that within the Results Dashboard, but I’d rather have something that updates the data in real tim
Is it possible to change the height of the Qualtrics frame when it is embedded via LTI for another platform/hosting page? I currently have an integration with Canvas (Instructure Canvas) using LTI, and when in the Canvas interface, users have to scroll through the Qualtrics survey because the frame is too small. Many of the settings relevant to how the survey is rendered are adjusted on the Qualtrics side, so I’m wondering if it’s possible to change the LTI frame size on the Qualtrics end as well. Otherwise, I can see if it’s something that can be adjusted on the Canvas side (though I’ve yet to find that option in Canvas). Thank you!
Is it even possible to use piped text as the total in validation for either the Constant Sum or Matrix-Constant Sum Question types? I’ve seen it referenced in an older XM Community thread, where the same issue was posed as part of a two-part question, but there’s not really a solution to the first part of the question that relates to what I’m looking to do.What I would like to do is used piped text as the required total for a Constant Sum question. For context, the piped text would referenced an embedded variable (number set variable type) that indicates the number of raffle tickets someone has. I have participants entering their email address in a text field on a single page survey. I have a survey which asks respondents to view a video in entirety before proceeding to answer questions on the next page. I would like to hide the next button until the video is finished playing. Of note, I specifically don’t want to use a timer to hide the next button in case someone chooses to watch the video on a higher watch speed (e.g., 1.5x, 2x).I’ve poured through the Community Forum looking for Javascript to accomplish this; however, my issue seems to be with using iFrame as the code I’ve found is written for other embedded video formats.Does anyone have any experience with using JS with iFrame videos in Qualtrics? I would like to use JavaScript to hide the next button until the correct response is entered in a text box. Participants are shown a grid and asked to enter the text coordinates (e.g., A1) in a text box.For additional context, this question is timed and set to auto advance after 60 seconds. I tried using validation on the text box, but if the validation was not met at the end of the timer, the page would reload instead of advancing. Additionally, if someone entered the incorrect text BEFORE time ran out, the page would reload and the timer would start over at 60 seconds again.So, I'm wondering if I can use JavaScript to hide the next button until the correct response is entered. Here's my syntax, which is not working:In the above syntax, I'm trying to validate the text answer of r9. I entered it two ways as the response isn't case sensitive.Where am I going wrong with this syntax? Is this the correct way to go about this?
We have an API download of our data in csv format, which gives us links to pages where uploaded pdfs can be viewed. Is it possible to just download the User Submitted Files through API, instead of manually through the GUI in Data & Analysis/Export & Import/Export Data/User Submitted Files? Thanks for your help!
Is there a way to resize what is displayed for an inserted audio file? We used to be able to resize the window so that only the play button showed, but it seems that feature was removed, and now it shows the play button along with the audio length slider. Changing the html code by clicking 'source' on the question editor doesn't appear to change the size of the button when height and width are altered. As a separate question but one that would avoid the above, is there a way to tag an audio file to an image, so that when the image is clicked, the audio plays? Thanks for your help
I would like to have a text entry box where respondents can use buttons on either side of the text box to increase/decrease their responses by one. Ideally, I would love for it to be in the style that is represented on the Qualtrics Question Type toolbar to increase/decrease the number of choices, statements, fields, etc. (see screen grab below). Does anyone have any javascript code for this particular style?I saw a previous thread that used code to produce a similar product but in a different style (https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/6691/increment-embeded-field-data-by-1-upon-question-display). The above style would be much preferred, as the people using my survey would be using an iPad/phone and would benefit from having the larger, more distinct buttons. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
