Is there a way to do a custom metric that calculate the percentage point difference between two percentages? We have a high and a low percentage for about 15 items, and I’d like to create something that shows the difference between the two for each item, and whether it’s a positive or negative difference. For example, if one item has 33% for the high and 5% for the low, the difference is +28, but then we have an item that’s 30% high and 40% low, so that difference would be -10. Is there a way to create that custom metric? I’ve tried doing one for each item that takes the high-low, but it’s not quite coming up with that number. In my examples above, instead of 28, it’s 0.28. Thanks in advance!
Hi. I have a client projects that has a question to pick a date. I looked up and saw that we can use the imported calendar/date picker. When I import, and preview, it works fine. But once I change "Enter a date" to the text the client wants, that calendar functionality goes away and then it's just a normal text entry question. Is there any way to customize the text and still have the calendar appear? Thanks!
Hi. I have an issue that I can't figure out. I administer surveys for multiple clients. And all of them are set up to have survey questions in a main block, and then the last question in a separate block so we can use a "Submit Survey" button. In one of them, in the survey flow I have the embedded data set after the submit survey page, and when a participant gets to the Submit Survey page they see the back button. However, on another client, it's set up this way but they can't see the back button. Then I have several clients that have no embedded data set in the survey flow, so there's nothing between the two blocks, and they can't see the back button when they get to the submit survey page. Any thoughts as to why the inconsistency? Thanks in advance.
We have a few surveys that are in multiple languages, and our clients are asking if it's possible to see how many respondents took the survey in a given language. We've tried adding both values ("recipient language" and "user language") into the survey flow and then mapped to the dashboard, but it doesn't work. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thanks.
Hi. I have a quick question I couldn't find an answer for anywhere. I'm working on setting up some crosstabs. We use a 6-point agree scale for a lot of our questions, and we typically bucket them into top 2, bottom 2, and then the codes 3 and 4 are separate. I've figured that out and it's working well. The issue is that every now and then we use a 7-point scale, with code being a Not Applicable, Don't Know, etc. We always exclude them before we bucket so the responses can be based to those who are aware, know, etc. However, when I click on exclude, and then go to the Bucketing section, it still makes me group that code 7. Does anyone know if there's a way to exclude that code 7 when I bucket? Thank you!
Hi. I'm trying to set up a question using constant sum with total. My issue is that I have 3 columns, not one. Each row can only have 1 item with a number input, and I want the total to be by column, not row. I can't figure out how to only allow 1 column to be filled out per row, and how to get it to total by column. I've attached a screenshot of how it's set up right now. Thanks in advance!.!
Does anyone know if there’s a way to change the basing of a question for how it appears in Vocalize? As an example, we have a ranking question where we asked employees to rank the top 3 reasons for visiting a site. In the past, when we would process the data offline and prepare a PowerPoint, we would base the results to those who answered the question. However, in Vocalize, it’s basing it to those who rank the benefit. So what’s happening is the reasons for visiting are skewed if on Vocalize. It’s showing that “learn about retirement programs” was ranked #1 100% of the time, but when I manually calculated it, it’s less than 1% of time it was ranked #1. Anyone know how to fix that? Thanks.
