Hi! I would like to add additional information for some keywords in our survey that should be displayed when hovering over the keyword (or clicking the keyword) in an additional pop-up box or tooltip. Using the html span-titel command unfortunately only works for computers but not if accessing the survey with a mobile device. Also, the pop-up box disappears very quickly on some browsers (Internet Explorer... yeah, people exist that still use it :D ), which makes it impossible to read the text. Another problem is, that on some browsers, it takes quite some time until the pop-up appears. Could someone share Java-code with me to solve this issue, or maybe lead me to a topic where this was already solved? I have digged through the community posts but weren't able to find a properly working java solution. Happy for any suggestions!
Hi there,we've got two matrix questions with in total 13 items. The items are the same for both questions. Question 1 asks for the "importance" and question 2 for the "satisfaction" with the items.Is it somehow possible to randomize the order of the items, but the same for both questions? So that for example we have the order D, B, A, C fort question 1 and D, B, A, C for question 2?Thankful for any help!
Hi there! I want to validate, that for certain answers, only integer numbers can be entered (i.e., only 6 or 7 and not 6.4 or 7,3). I found this java code quiet handy: jQuery("#"+this.questionId+" .InputText").attr({'type':'number','min':'0'}); (I found it here: https://www.qualtrics.com/community/discussion/1125/how-to-set-a-field-to-number-only ) Unfortunately, it still allows floating numbers and even minuses. It seems, that 'type' cant simply changed from 'number' to 'integer' (I am not really into JavaScript). May anyone help me? I already have a workaround using custom validation and RegEx code (^\\d*$) but for some reason, this custom validation doesn't react in a "Form"-Question. Nevertheless, I also prefer the Java-solution, which from the beginning prohibits entering text and allows only numbers (and also "," and "." ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯ ) Happy for any suggestions!
Hi there,I am currently faced with the following problem:I would like to set up a question where I ask for the share of something (5 different items). Participants shall either put in the share or also have the possibility to select "Prefer not to say".So far, I came up with a side-by-side question. For the first column, I have one open-ended text column (headlined with "%") in which the participant can simply put in the share. I added a second column with likert single selection (i.e., radio buttons) headlined "Prefer not to say". My idea was, that if someone enters a number in the first column, this value will automatically be erased if he selects the radio button in the same row. On the other side, if the radio button is selected and the participant starts entering something in the text field, the button will automatically be deselected. On page 1 there is an introductory text, on page 2 there is the form (i.e., question) to sign up.In the first paragraph on page one I would like to directly offer the participant to sign up: "Thank you for your interest. You may directly follow this link to sign up."My idea is that quick readers can instantly click on "this link", a hyperlink that directly moves to the next page. Everyone else can read the other paragraphs and then click on the forward-button at the bottom of the page.Is there an easy way to execute this? Hi their,we have a question where some of the answer options should automatically exclude certain other answer options. This works perfectly fine using groups within the answer options.Unfortunately, the answer options within the groups are aligned to the center. Is it somehow possible to align the group options to the left, or to also center the answers that are not part of groups? Somehow, using the align center / align left doesn't work in the Rich Content Editor (i.e., html).Any suggestions? Here's a picture as example:

As I want the error message to be a little more prominent (i.e., color red and bold), I would like to customize the error message that appears on default for "forced response"-questions. Unfortunately, I am only able to receive the standard error message: ! I am only able to use the edited message if I use the "custom validation" option: ! Is it somehow possible that the standard error message (picture one) can be edited that it looks like the custom validation message (picture two)? I am a little too lazy to it via the custom validation option (>100 questions in my survey...). Best regards walli

Hi there, we wanted to launch a survey this afternoon. I have created a contact list and wanted to create personalized links using this list (worked perfectly fine last week). Now, I am getting stuck at the "Generate Links" process. It seems that it is loading, but nothing happens. I also tried to click on cancel or go to the previous page (which worked), and suddenly, the Contact list appeared in "Distributions" -> "Personal Links". But if I then try to download the links, it gets stuck again. Anyone having similar problems? Best regards
Hi everyone, I have a quiet tricky problem and wanted to ask, if someone knows a solution for the following: I have a large list of countries, where participants are supposed to select the most important ones and drop them in order of importance into the ranking box (i.e., 40 items and only one "group box" where the countries shall be dragged and dropped). The problem is, due to the overwhelming amount of countries, we would like to set headlines within the "Items" area, so that it is easier for respondents to find the country they need. For example, we begin with all countries in Europe. There should be a bold headline above the European countries, that is not a draggable item, and simply states European Countries. Then a second headline above the other items saying Other regions and then again a few draggable items, e.g., USA, Asia, etc. Happy for any help!
Hi there, I am trying the following: I have four statements (rows) and two columns in which the respondents are supposed to allocate a share. The sum of each row shall not exceed 100, but it should be possible that it stays below 100. So far, I only figured out that I can set a "Must total 100" in constant sum questions, but this is not really what I am looking for, as it shall be possible for the participants to allocate less than 100. Am I overlooking a question type or validation that could solve this? !
