Display questions horizontally

Hi Appzk , I think you are looking for below structure which you can achieve using only below style code: Hope it resolves your query😊!!! Use the below code in Look & Feel->Style->Custom CSS. #Questions{ background: lightskyblue; } What if we want to modify the background color of the response option instead?  Keep in mind there’s two colors.  One for when the page loads and one for when you mouse over the response option itself.

"aa" needs to unique to each open-end question as well as "ED1" which is the name of your new embedded data in your dataset. How can I put a drop-down list in a form question field?

Very nice @TomG! Are you aware of any code out there to remove the border around form fields? If a field is editable it makes sense to have a border, but if I'm using JS coding to prevent editing it would be nice to have the border hidden / removed to the respondent doesn't misinterpret.

Sounds like you're looking for more flexibility in the Custom Rules for survey frequency controls. I don't think there is a way to do this right now, but it is worth submitting a new product idea suggestion for this as it makes sense to me. @ mention me in your submission and I'll up vote for you.

Adding custom CSS for all questions/answer options

We use a custom font with our static themes. I had to send the font files to the Themes Team at Qualtrics and they took care of the implementation. That is the only way I'm aware of to get it done. But I'm not a coder so maybe there is a way to add CSS that references a font file on a server hosted by your company instead of Qualtrics. Not sure about that. I don't know how to reference files uploaded to the Library in code either, but technically that could be possible as well. Best of luck!

As far as I can tell there is no way to copy an existing dynamic theme in order to start a new one, so you would need to just copy all the settings and add them to the new dynamic theme. If you have a branded theme it could be a "static" theme. Those themes were created before the current functionality for dynamic themes was built and also offer more customization options. Unfortunately, they must be created/modified by Qualtrics Support. If it is a dynamic theme and you can't modify it, and you aren't the Brand Admin, then you need to reach out to the Brand Admin for your license to get the new theme done most likely. There is an admin setting called "Customize Theme" which can be enabled/disabled and can be set at a user or role level. If it is disabled for you then you won't be able to make any changes to the themes. Hope that helps.

mklubeck you can now create new dynamic themes where you can modify the font and apply just that theme to your survey. Go to Admin -> Themes and then click the plus button in the upper left to add a new dynamic theme.

@MattBroffman_Orlando how does that (setting Dashboard roles based on an attribute from LDAP/SSO) work if you need to have access to multiple dashboards across different lines of business (e.g. Marketing, Sales, HR, etc.)? Also, are User Groups connected to Dashboard roles?

How can I identify the Distribution Channel in survey?

To provide more clarity just in case someone else has the same question as @Monarch. If you add "Q_CHL" to the survey flow you will get the Distribution Channel automatically as an embedded data element in the survey response.

Thanks. I'll have to submit this as a feature request (Product Idea). Unfortunately you can't leverage the web service for a survey invite...only in the survey flow and in that situation I could just add an embedded data element with the survey name. Thanks for the help!

You can get a theme created by the Qualtrics themes team (themes@qualtrics.com) and then the theme is set as the default for all your surveys. You can supply custom CSS, font files, etc. This will ensure brand consistency across all surveys.

Hey Milind. Really appreciate access like this to ask higher level product questions. This is a bit of a technology architecture question, so hoping as the product owner you are able to answer it or engage the right resources on your side to get an answer. It would be great if you could provide some insight into how you see Qualtrics fitting into the enterprise technology eco-system...including typical issues and enterprise faces and whether you envision Qualtrics as the solution or something else. Here is an example that might be helpful. To ensure a positive customer experience controlling the number of times a customer is 'touched' across sales & marketing, service, CX, research, etc. is critical. Qualtrics frequency controls manages survey frequency, but do you feel it would be the tool to manage frequency of customer touchpoints across all channels? This is an issue all companies are eventually going to have to tackle. One idea was to load customer 'touches' into Qualtrics
