Anyone have avenues to move down to achieve something like this? In response to the above caveat, let's say it is a low rate of response (say only 1-3 concurrent users same time)

Yeah, as far as I know the actions are based on a completed response or an updated response, so I'm not sure that would work but would be interested if someone knows a workaround there.
Hmm. This seems close. Two questions.I was planning to use the recode values for the selection, this seems to be based on the specific option being shown on the computed out, am I wrong there?This is almost too complicated, I would be selecting a single choice coming from an embedded data field, how I can I get rid of all the while's and just set the selection to the embedded data value which should match one of the recode values.Thanks so much!
How would one get this to work on a multi-select in listbox view?
I agree, either embed the video directly into the survey, or if you must show the entire page, you might want to look into adding a jquery modal window that can be opened and then closed. I do this with a qualtrics survey inside of a survey, the modal opens about 90% full screen but the user doesn't leave the original survey.
How many blocks are you talking about? And do they all need to be in the order, or do you just want the highest choice on top?I could see something with an embedded data value of the highest value, and then branch the flow based on that value and you control the order of the blocks based on it. However if you have a lot of blocks that could get tedious.
Hmm, off the top of my head I am thinking something like create an embedded data of 'graphicCount' set to 0.Then a script to add 1 to the embeded data on each next click. The embedded data could then be piped into the html of the question to show it's current value. It could get tricky if you let them move backwards, would need to account for subtractions.
Just to clarify, you are setting the question on the seocnd page by using a script in the default choice?If so, you might need to remove that and move it to the javascript of the question with the onLoad option which then you can update the current field's value with the selected values of the first question, this way each time the page loads with the second question, it loads the selections.Alternatively, there could be something wrong with your read-only setup that is not allowing the field to update, but this seems unlikely.

I agree that definitely need a lot more information to provide any solution here. I'd also suggest for videos using a platform that is dedicated to videos for hosting and then embedding, for performance and user experience benefits.Do you have any other custom code going on in the survey that could be causing a conflict?
I don't believe you can accomplish this with built in methods. If you had access to a email server/service you could add a web service block after each block and use embedded data to send it to trigger the email, but would be pretty reliant on the third party system/setup. For instance if you used something like Power Automate/or similar service which can accept http requests, you could have them accept the request and then send the email.
The former pre-school teacher in me always thinks of the "Teddy bear picnic" as we used to hold one in class the first nice week of April to bring in spring.
So it does work for multi-choice too just only in list view, not multi-select view.
Hi,I am using the questions API, and it works in qualtrics on a multi-select question when it is list format, when i change it to selectbox format it does not work, this is before adding the select2 layer. I am trying to get it to just work in qualtrics first, so unless it is being recorded with no visual to the user that the item is selected, the first part of your statement is not holding true for me. I can open the survey, have it work in list format, edit the question to select box format, no other change, hit refresh and it does not work. Thanks,Brian
