I abhor horror, but love Halloween content tailored for children. (A Nightmare Before Christmas, Hocus Pocus, It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown)
LauraG is an amazing project & product manager!
My goal is to finish reading the data warehousing book I started in 2019...
I'd definitely be skiing - maybe with a jet to visit multiple mountains since it'd be too hard to pick just one! And I would pay a scientist to invent calorie-free holiday cookies that taste just as good as real ones.
I'm thankful for LauraG , who has worked tirelessly with me on all things Qualtrics related!
We also upload contacts daily - we have an embedded data field called ed_dsc_exclude that we send over as "yes" for contacts we wish to not receive a survey on a given day. I don't know the mechanics of how it works with the survey distribution (we hired an implementation consultant to create our survey), but it's been working for us for the last year or so - I can ask for more details if that sounds helpful to you!
Our SIS (PowerSchool) doesn't integrate with Qualtrics either - we keep all out our SIS data in a data warehouse, though, and have a Qualtrics automation that creates contacts in a Qualtrics directory for our students and staff using data in the warehouse with various embedded data fields. All of the logic around the embedded data fields lives in a view in the warehouse (which is a SQL server database).I just realized this post is over a year old - what did you end up doing?
It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown - not at all spooky, but can you really say you experienced Halloween without watching it?
Hi! I'm Julia, and I work in K-12 education for Uncommon Schools, which is a charter school network of~20k students, 2.5k staff in NY, NJ, and MA. We've been using Qualtrics to survey students, families, and staff on COVID exposure and positivity, and create dashboards that organize that data for stakeholders. We've had a lot of trial and error in getting ourselves set up, and are eager to learn best practices from others with similar experiences!
I don't know if it's the only option, but we send pretty much everything as a csv (UTF-8) and that seems to work well!
