Hi @nitish08 , If I set it in dashboard directly, it shows PA1,PA2 as one of the entry in drop down as shown below: I want to only show PU Cloud and PU Digital as 2 options.

I can’t have a new field because I have used the existing field in many dashboards. Is it right to have SET EMBEDDED DATA element after the web service call just to change the type ?Thanks for your patience to reply.

Thanks @Nanditha MM .My requirement is slightly different. I have a contact list having multiple value attribute that is get obtained using API - Contact search in a survey as shown below: I don’t get an option to set this field Portfolio_Unit field as MULTI VALUE in webservice element. But when I tried to add another element just after web service element as below using the same embedded field name with no assignment, the values are appearing as MULTI VALUE in DATA & ANALYSIS:But I wasn’t sure if it is the correct way to do.

Thanks @nitish08 for the quick response. My embedded field in Survey is getting value from a API.So I tried to do the following:In the beginning of the flow, I defined the embedded data of same name and set it as MULTI VALUE TEXT, hoping that when it gets value from API, it would store like multi value text. But it showed the result as below: Since it did not work, I removed the definition in the beginning of survey and added the step of SET EMBEDDED DATA after the API call. And added the same embedded field name as MULTI VALUE TEXT. Once I published, all values in DATA & ANALYSIS is showing as below: Is this the correct way to do ? Can we just have a set embedded field to change the type of field ? I need to change this field to MULTI VALUE TEXT in many surveys, few having API call and few being as normal Embedded data. Kindly guide.

@wesp The flow of new SDS works fine except for 1 problem. Whenever I load data into IMPORTED DATA PROJECT, it inserts a blank record by default and doesn’t let me delete this record. And then the LOAD TO SDS fails stating the search field is blank for a record.Till yesterday, it was letting me delete the blank record in DATA & ANALYSIS. Today it is not letting me delete the record. I also tried populating test data in that record to make it non blank, still it recognizes it as blank record. Kindly help ASAP as the data needs to be updated to SDS by EOD. Thanks in advance.

@wesp , I have made all changes and have created the workflow. You had mentioned that LOAD TO SDS task may only be run at most every 24 hours. I loaded last at 2:20 pm IST yesterday. Does that mean it considers 24 hours from that time or is follows the clock ? I tried running workflow now (11:40 am IST), it gave me same error. Would I be able to load only after 2:20 pm IST today ?Thanks in advance.

@wesp , As it is mentioned in tutorial above that in workflow, there is no way I can EXTRACT all responses from survey that had the legacy SDS and load it into library, what do you recommend us to do as we cant use Extract responses from survey (It being delta in nature). We are using this SDS in Auto manage complete so we need the entire dataset available in Library SDS at any time.Awaiting your reply.

Lock filter for an embedded field in CX Dashboard with BLANK

Thanks for sharing the link. I went through all the links. But the customer says, when he keeps the browser for long time and does no action, he gets the below message:  English translation : Your session has ended and your response, if any, has been recorded.Where can I change this message ?

Hi,We received an e-mail that we need to migrate the SDS to library.So, we tried doing it.We are now stuck in AUTOCOMPLETE section, where under MANAGE AUTO COMPLETE, earlier when the checkbox - FITLER AUTOCOMPLETE SUGGESTION was enabled, it let us set condition against embedded field. Now, in the new version, when I enable the checkbox, it doesn’t give the option to select the embedded field. Kindly help.Regards,neha Tank

Thanks a lot vgayraud for the prompt support. It worked fine.I would like to use this API in webservice element in my survey flow. The requirement is to pass email and extRef to get couple of attributes from the contact list and store in embedded field in survey. I wasn’t sure how is the body with filter provided in webservice below:  I tried passing only one filter in Body parameters and clicked on TEST and it was returning only the requestID. How can I obtain other attributes and store in embedded data ? Thanks in advance.

Count of Customers instead of Response

Thanks for the inputs. I was thinking what if we have an embedded field with hard coded value 1.Then we use that field in our metric as AVG and give the corresponding field for GROUP BY. Will it work ? For example, there are 3 responses against an Account. So If I have AVG at ACCOUNT LEVEL, then it would be (1+1+1/3) = 1. I have not tried it yet but do you think it would work ? Then this field can be used to derive count for any field right ?

Count of Customers instead of Response

Hi,It is a B2B scenario.One Account (Customer organization) can have multiple people (which we call as customer contacts) responding to the survey. So I have the list of all customer contacts maintained in directory.Let us say one Account has 10 customer contacts. We would like to have a status report where we need to mention how many accounts responded to survey. So in this example, I would like to show the count as 1 and not 10. For me, 10 is response count, where as 1 is distinct count of Account / Customer organization.We do not have Sales force integration for contacts yet.In Qualtrics dashboard, any metric with COUNT doesn’t have any reference Dimension as we can usually see in any reporting tool. Hope it clarifies.

How can I count the different values on one embedded data ?

In the answer proposed here, will it not mark the embedded field as 1 everytime cat appears. It means if I use this field in dashboard, I would still get the count as 5 and not 3 right ?
