Hi Emily, we are currently running a fieldwork using inline question and we experienced the same problem. What enabled us to pass this issue is a small 'trick': -create an embedded data called 'Q1', for instance -once you created your mail with inline question, go to the html view; -change the links you find inside each response button with an anonymous link built this way: yoursurveyanonymouslink?Q1=label1 (e.g. not satisfied), for the second button yoursurveyanonymouslink?Q1=label2, etc. -now you can hide the Q1 question for the respondents coming from inline question (setting a display logic as 'not to display if embedded data 'Q1' is not empty') Hope this could help you Betto

Hi Marta, As I had to embed that code for more than 30 surveys, I faced the same problem for a plenty of them. That is due to delete of some options in the question. So, for instance, i tried to substitute all those 'QID0' in the code into 'QID12', then I previewed the question. If it does not work, try 'QID13' or other numberr. If your survey have not been live yet, you can re-create the question, it will have the correct ID order for sure :)

Nonetheless, I experienced this issue with a gmail account (hotmail).. anyway, as many people are likely to have different kind of mail accounts, maybe it is preferable not to use inline question at all..
Hi Amos, NPS is the least customizable question type as it is a registered mark. I would use a multiple choice question in this case. Eventually you can set an embedded data to recode answers (0 to 6= detractor and so on) Bye
Hi, we had the same problem and it has been solved without any code. Just follow the following steps: 1- create embedded field on survey flow (I suggest not to use 'designation' or similar; better 'a', 'b', 'c'. 2- using excel, you create a different personal link using the anonymous one, adding to that the embedded with the desired values: e.g. www.qualtrics.com/survey1234+?+a=marketing&b=chief&c=male final result: www.qualtrics.com/survey1234?a=marketing&b=chief&c=male So you will have an anonymous link which is different for every respondent based on the attached information. And they will not know which info you are collecting if you use 'a' instead of 'designation' as a field and '1' instead of 'male' as a content.
