I tried various pieces of code from other posts, with no luck in getting any to work. I can either re-display the PSItemList embedded data field, or in my example, was trying to create a new field called PSReformList. I have a survey that a parent receives when his/her student registers for our internship program. I capture the parent phone # in the survey, and would like to add that to their contact information. I tried using an Action at the end of the survey with the "Add to XM Directory" task. I added the embedded data field to the "Phone Number (optional)" cell and chose "Save or update embedded data". While this works with other pieces of embedded data, it does not seem to work with the Phone Number field?
I know of a couple school districts who have successfully been able to display Vocalize dashboards via their school websites. They have created a generic view-only login and used code with a proxy-login to connect website visitors without requiring those visitors to log in. That code has been shared with me, but with both our website provider and a google-sites website, I am running into problems with the login screen showing in the iframe rather than the login connecting to Qualtrics. Since Qualtrics does not support this feature, they are unable to assist me in troubleshooting this problem. Any help would be appreciated - as I am very much a novice when it comes to web coding.
I want to send a weekly survey to our student interns to enter their work time for the previous week. I originally set up an embedded data field, WeekStartDate as ${date://OtherDate/m%2Fd%2FY/-1 week}. However, if instead of filling out the survey on Monday when I send it, they fill it out on Tuesday, they get the previous Tuesday (and I want Monday). Does anyone know the variable for survey send date that I could use in the field -1 week? Thanks.
I have a record grid widget displaying PreACT scores and semester two grades. I would like to color-code the grades in each cell, A as dark green, B as light green, etc. I am able to use a recode for the field to change the font color (ie "A"), but would prefer to change the background. I have tried " A" but that is not working for me. Suggestions?
I would like our community partners to review the current information we have stored and make any needed changes. One of the questions is the type of partnership they have with us -- ranges from a level 1 - Job Fair to level 6 - Career Internship. I have embedded data "Level Number" which is one or more values based on their answer earlier this school year (ie Level Number 1,2,5,6). I am trying to pre-check the same levels when I display the data to them for their review. Searching through the community I have found some javascript code but it does not seem to be selecting any of the responses for me. Hello. We have a survey sent to employers several times a year for each of the student interns they employ at their company. In the past, we have just emailed the anonymous link to the employer and asked them to fill it out for each student (1-6 at each company). The issue is that student first & last names sometimes are not spelled the same, so there is manual clean up required on my part to ensure the dashboards will summarize ALL of a particular student's data. This year we would like to use email distributions for each of the employers to fill out the evaluation, pre-populating the items like student name. We have XMD, so I know I could format the employer contact information with StudentEmployee1, StudentEmployee2, etc -- and can create a contact list for each group based on StudentEmployee# "is not empty". The problem is, how do I get the survey to default to the correct choice? So -- the first email the employer gets defaults StudentEmployee1 information; second email is
Wondering if anyone has had success creating a Contact Import Automation in XM directory with Google Drive as the Import Source? I've tried a couple ways but I get an error that it does not like the format of my file folder path.
We administered a classroom survey to students last year, and I included TeacherName embedded data so I could restrict access to the responses to only the teacher's own responses. I have updated XMD with new teachers, retirements and married names. However, the users in my dashboard do not automatically receive any of these updates. Has anyone run into this issue before? Have you just exported from XMD and imported into your dashboard, deleting all previous users to eliminate duplicates? I'm wondering what the best approach is in this situation.
We recently converted from contact lists to XM Directory. The number of embedded data fields (130) per contact is crazy. Some of the embedded data fields don't even make sense for certain groups of contacts. It looks like I can segregate my contacts based on "type" (Employees, Students, Alumni, etc) and then each of the different directories can have embedded data that makes sense for that group. I'm wondering if anyone has done this and could confirm that for me so I can feel confident when I start setting up different directories it is not all in vain!
! I'd like to color-code the status field in a record grid widget -- sounds like the only way to do this would be to add HTML in the recode editor. I tried using bgcolor= in the recode, but no luck. I'm hoping someone has done this and can share their solution? Thanks!
