I have a recently published survey and I'm trying to get its responses through a Python script. I took what's located on the following page and tweaked it for my usage: https://api.qualtrics.com/guides/docs/Guides/Common%20Tasks/getting-survey-responses-via-the-new-export-apis.mdThe script works fine when getting a few other surveys' results, but throws a 404 error when trying to get results for the new survey. I made sure I had the correct survey ID as well. The metadata parameters (data center, api token, etc) are all fine since I can get other survey results.Any idea as to why I'm getting a 404? I don't have any survey responses yet, could that be why?
Let's say I have the following question:What's your favorite fruit?a. Appleb. Bananac. CherryI share the survey and get responses. But I update the 'Cherry' answer choice to the following:What's your favorite fruit?a. Appleb. Bananac. MelonDo all previous responses of 'Cherry' stay? Or do they get updated to Melon? Does it matter if I edit and update that Cherry choice? Should I instead delete that option and instead create a new option that says 'Melon'?
I'm getting the following error message when a user selects no options in a Multiple Choice question that allows for multiple answers.I set a rule of 0 to 2 allowed choices, but the survey throws this error when no answer choices are selected:It's kind of a weird error message, and also shouldn't be appearing in the first place since I have 0 as the minimum.
I'm having trouble with getting incomplete surveys to expire immediately when the browser page is closed. So if someone is halfway through taking a survey, closes that browser tab, opens the survey link in another tab, their responses are saved. Is there a way to have the responses not saved at all? I've been playing around with the settings but haven't found a way to do this.
I have a drill down that includes 3 questions and would like the second question as part of display logic for later questions in my survey. What are some workarounds to achieve this? I was thinking of having a hidden text-response question populated by the 2nd question via Javascript and have the display logic refer to this hidden question, but that doesn't seem possible on a text-field. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
I'm trying to use an embedded data field for display logic, but the display logic isn't working correctly. It appears as if the embedded data field isn't being set properly. The question that creates the embedded data field is a group of 3 drill downs. Here's the embedded data field. Second one is to see if a Text field would work instead of a Text Set:And here's a test question to try to get drilldown2 or drilldown to appear:The only thing that appears is the query (${q://QID21/ChoiceGroup/SelectedAnswers/2}), or whatever that's called. Here's what it appears when I'm taking the survey:Am I creating the embedded variable incorrectly?
I'm trying to design a survey that includes the following 3 questions, each becoming more granular before the previous question and containing choices dependent on the previous questions:What building do you work at?What area do you work at?What specific location do you work at?There are 5 possible choices to question 1: UB, UD, UH, UL, UOThere are 10 possible choices to question 2: Classrooms, Hallways/Pods, Cafeteria, Common Spaces, Copy Room/Staff Office, Main Office, Supply Room, Adult Restroom, Student Restroom, GymThere's no display logic needed for question 2, since all choices from question 1 allow all choices for question 2.Now for the fun part, question 3, which has a bunch of possible choices since they depend on the answers to questions 1 and 2. Ex: if someone choose UB and Classrooms, they should have 33 possible choices. If they were to choose UH and Classrooms, they should have 48 different choices. I've been able to think of 2 possible solutions for the last question:Cr
I have a groups of the same questions for different categories, and it would be nice to have them displayed together but in some sort of container to distinguish from other groups. I tried using blocks but wasn't a fan of having to make users go to new pages for each block since I have 5 groups.I've been playing around with the themes and styling of my survey but haven't found any option to do this. Is there any way to have like a border outlining a group of questions?
