I am trying to add "%" to a slider so that when someone slides through, the user reads a number along with the "%" sign, for e.g. instead of "7", the user sees "7%" on top of the slider. Is there a way to implement this through JS? Thanks.
Is there a way to disable question label ? I essentially do not want the question label to appear above this slider, instead just want to have the choice text to appear in the matrix table. !
Hi, I am running a longitudinal study and want to bring in text entry data from Survey 1 into Survey 2. I am aware of the "Pulling Data into a Second Survey" instructions on Qualtrics support, BUT these instructions seem to suggest that you MUST have set embedded data fields in Survey 1 first. I did not do this. I collected survey 1 data, and only now seek to bring some of survey 1 data into survey 2. Can I do this after having collected survey 1, and if yes, HOW might go about doing that? The instructions I mentioned earlier refers to setting up a Contact list, but I am not contacting participants via Qualtrics, rather via another platform that is send my surveys out to participants. Can I pull in data from survey 1 into 2 WITHOUT using a contact list (emails)? Can I do it using a participant ID that I have for all participants??Thank you for any suggestions you may have.
I am creating a survey that is based on multiple choice questions. The first block in the survey contains the questions and based on what the user selects (user can select only one option), a succeeding block will contain specific statements from the Unselected Choices, e.g. if the user selects options a from q1, the succeeding block can contain option c from q1 and similarly for all other questions. Currently I am using Display Logic but since there are 16 questions and each have 6 options, Display Logic will not be feasible. Since I am a beginner at JS, I was wondering if this logic could be implemented with JS and how?
I have created a survey that includes certain blocks which are randomized. I want to present pictures from a set of pictures in those blocks in a randomized fashion. I read a post that suggested to make every possible combination of a picture with the questions for e.g. question1pic1, question2pic2 etc. Is there a less time consuming method to achieve this task with 16 questions.
I want to modify these sliders ! 1. How can I adjust the values so that they appear above and not on the scale. 2. Is there a way to have the choices adjacent and not below the sliders? Thanks in advance!
My survey has a section that randomizes the blocks. When I view the data on SPSS, the blocks are not recorded the way they were viewed by the user i.e. in the randomized order. Instead, they are recorded the way I have set up in the survey. Is there a way to record the exact randomized order of the blocks as seen by the user?
I am trying to use the randomizer on 2 groups each containing two blocks. I am using the randomizer in the survey flow in order to present these groups. I want each group to be presented 4 times within the randmizer. Is this possible and if yes then how? Secondly when I check "Evenly present items" and save the flow, it autmatically gets unchecked. I know that Qualtrics supports question randomization but is there a way to randomize the order of questions manually? I am want to randomize a specific order of questions for e.g. I want to randomize this set: [(Q1, Q2), (Q3,Q4), (Q5,Q6)]. So after randomizing the questions could appear as: [(Q3,Q4), (Q1,Q2), (Q5,Q6)] i.e. the inner order of subsets do not change.
Is there a way to manipulate the flow of the survey using JS? Essentially after a couple questions, a random question appears (from an existing list of questions) but it needs to be succeeded by a certain question for e.g. from my current list of questions, I randomly select q3 and after q3, q4 must appear.
I am trying to add an embedded data to my survey. Whenever the user answers a certain question, this new embedded data field gets populated. I am coding it liked this: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() {.... this.addEmbeddedData("Profile", "High"); } so a new data field "Profile" is created with the string "High" (for a particular questions). When I export the data to view it on SPSS, I am unable to view this new data field anywhere. Am I adding and viewing this new field incorrectly?
Is there a way to figure out the code of every question without the questions code: ${q://QID122/ChoiceGroup/SelectedChoices}? Currently I am piping in questions in order to view this code but as I add more questions the question code changes as well. Piping every time is very inefficent as I have 40 questions.
