I have a Tableau workbook connected to a Qualtrics survey via the Tableau (web data connector) integration. Today, when I tried to refresh it, I got the following error in Tableau:When going to the Qualtrics survey data export (to try to build the extract over again), the Tableau tab is gone completely! This is odd, and it makes me wonder if my Qualtrics administrator did something to my access to this integration (I've reached out to ask).However, I also tried to recreate the extract using the same web data connector link from the previous one, and I got this error:... and, when trying to go to the "Contact Support" part of the Qualtrics support site, I'm just getting a 500 error. Are Qualtrics servers having some sort of outage, or is this an issue with my specific survey / connector / account / whatever?Thanks ...
Hi all,We just got the new Autocomplete feature, and my use case is to have a question with choices that will evolve over time. That is, as the survey is live, new options that users can choose from will be added daily. What is the best way to accomplish this? I know that I could log in to the survey project and manually add the options via the "Static List" data source, but that's super manual and prone to delays and errors. I could reference "supplemental data" from another survey, but the data isn't in another survey. Is there a way to somehow link a simple database to populate the choices? Thanks!
Here's my setup: 1. Links in e-mails sent via CRM containing Q_PopulateResponse values populate the first question of the survey 2. Javascript auto-advances the first page (which contains just the first question), creating the beginnings of a response 3. Respondents can continue on and answer more questions, submit, etc, but if they do nothing else, the response is recorded after four hours (via the survey settings) Here's what's going wrong: For whatever reason, it seems that people are clicking links (from the CRM e-mails) multiple times. (It looks like an average of two clicks per person!) When they do so, it seems that each click is being recorded as a new response, even when done within the four hour window, and not as an updated response. Can anyone think of why this is happening, and how to "fix" it? The ideal would be for the last click (within the first four hours) to be recorded as the one and only response. Hi all, Is there a way to automatically (and periodically) export survey results to an SFTP server? I saw reference to that in this Automations documentation, but I guess that's only for contacts (and not survey results), maybe? Is the only way to do this to be able to work with the API? If so, would this be where to start? Thanks much!
Is it possible to record partial (unsubmitted) responses in less than four hours?
I read and understood the note that "A question must be submitted by the respondent using the Next Button before Piped Text will work," but can anyone suggest a way to display a question's selection in piped text "in page"? The scenario I have is that I am populating a question's response with Q_PopulateResponse, and then I want to make it clear in the next question's description text, as is depicted in this screenshot: ! Can anyone think of a workaround to do this? I don't want to force people to click a "Next" button, but I don't want to use Javascript to auto-advance the page, since that would prevent them from going back later in the survey to edit their answer ... I know that this may be a unique use case, but any advice you all have will be welcomed. Thanks!
I'm having a frustrating problem that I'm not even sure is Qualtrics' "fault". I'm trying to link to a URL like the following one from a message in my CRM (note that this isn't being sent through Qualtrics email distributions or via the SalesForce integration): https://nyu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ac6wv3ygHecgWQ5?Q_PopulateResponse={%22QID1%22:%221%22} This seems to be no issue for my CRM, and the "preview" message looks good; however, when I actually send the message and view it in my e-mail client (indeed, in several), the URL is changed so that the %22's are changed to the HTML character entity " like so: `https://nyu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ac6wv3ygHecgWQ5?Q_PopulateResponse=%7B"QID1":"1"%7D` This is a problem, as it causes Qualtrics to fail to register the URL parameters, and so the question isn't pre-populated. Hi all, I'm trying to be able to send an e-mail through my CRM that includes images (likely three "frowning / neutral / smiling" faces) in a rating scale. My goal is to allow the user to simply click one image and, once the page to which the image is linked loads, record a survey response. This would be something like the following: ! I'm fairly sure Qualtrics can do this without me resorting to some workaround involving multiple survey projects or the like. But I can't figure out even what to call this in order to search for it. I believe I've properly added embedded data passed to my survey via URL to my survey flow - when I click on a response in the Data & Analysis tab, I see the passed variable listed as Embedded Data (right above the Location Data section). However, I can't figure out how to download the embedded data with my response data; when I go to Export Data and Download All Fields, the embedded data field is not included in the download. What gives?
Is it possible to change the text of the submit button according to a selection on a multiple choice question (on the same page)? What we are looking to do: if respondent chooses choices one - three, which will result in the survey ending, we want the submit button to say "Submit"; if they choose choice four, which will result in them being redirected to another form, we want the submit button to say something like, "Tell us more about yourself".
