Recording Loop and Merge Field to map responses to presented item

The scenario is that I have 50 text examples that survey participants would be evaluating through a Matrix question (rubric).I have them set up in a Loop and Merge that randomizes the order the examples are presented. I need to be able to map the responses to the example the user was shown.For example:The user is presented with text examples Text1, Text5, Text15, Text26 and Text42.I need to be able to align the responses to those text identifiers (essentially ${lm://Field/1} or ${lm://Field/2})I’m guessing this will require javascript code and embedded data but that’s as far as my knowledge goes. I can mess around with code, but am not facile at writing it from scratch.Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Populate Text/Graphic from external source (csv)

The scenario is that there are 50 text examples that survey participants would be evaluating through a Matrix question (rubric).Instead of cutting and pasting the content of each of those text example into 50 different Text/Graphic questions, is it possible to have the content of an external source, like a csv file, populate into the Text/Graphic option?If this is possible, what would the process look like/involve? Randomization would be nice but not necessary.I can mess around with code, but am not facile at writing it from scratch.Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

JS for Automatically Showing Data based on selections in Drill Down Question Group answers

Hi All,I’m not a coder so am having some difficulty getting the following code to work. I’ve commented the code to try to identify what I’m trying to accomplish. A quick description is as follows: This is a drilldown question type.The first two options are user and user email. When the user selects their name I want Qualtrics to automatically display the email associated with their name.The third option is a selection of timeslots. When the user selects the displayed Date/Time, I want the fourth and fifth options to display the data automatically. Identifying ID of response option

I have javascript that someone in the community provided me to help me hide question response options within a drill down question. I am not a coder but have done a fairly good job of reusing the code until now.The first example is working. Using Drill Down Response as Piped Text for Post Survey Email

I want the last option selected from a Drill Down Response to be an email address.I want to then be able to add that email address via piped text to the TO field in the Post Survey email.In a standard MCQ using dropdown (where the list is a list of emails), it is possible to use the Selected Choice option in the TO field to send the post survey email to that selection. That does not seem to work the same with Drill Down. Does anyone know of a work around?Thank you in advance for your time.

Is there a way to Carry Forward responses for multiple questions?

I have a survey that will have different selections available based on the date selected. I then want to pass those selections on to a dropdown menu question. Here's my example:User selects a date from a dropdown menu which then presents a multiple select question.Question 1: Date options:Thursday July 14 (display question 2)Thursday July 21 (display question 3)Question 2 Resulting multiple select options: Apples, Bananas, Cherries, Dates,FigsQuestion 3 Resulting multiple select options: Goji, Lemons, Mango, Orange, PearsIn Question 4, the user should be presented with a dropdown menu that presents only the responses they selected in question 2 or 3:If the user selects July 14 and then selects Apples and Cherries in question 2 the dropdown menu for Question 4 should present them with Apples and CherriesIf the user selects July 21 and then selects Lemons and Oranges in question 2 the dropdown menu for Question 4 should present them with Lemons and OrangesIt does not appear that Carry Fo

Capture Full URL from Survey completed on iPad or through an app

Hello,I've used the Referrer to capture the URL from which a survey was completed. It seems to work just fine when the survey is completed on a computer browser; however, it does not give me the same information when a user completes the survey from an iPad browser or from an app. Any thoughts on how I can more consistently get this data from the survey completion? Is there something I can program somehow?Adding an image. You can see that the Referer only captures the URL root in examples 1 and 2. These were completed on mobile devices. In example 3, completed on a laptop, the full URL is produced. Q_URL does not work as it only produces the URL for the survey itself. I'm trying to get the survey completed on the mobile device to produce the full URL either by using Referer (unlikely) or by somehow adding code to the survey to produce the full URL.Thank you,Amanda

Javascript within a question to send the results of the survey based on answer selected

Hello Everyone,I'm not a coder and am really hoping the members of this community might be able to provide some assistance.I have a survey for which I need to send the report for each individual submission to the person whose name was selected from a dropdown menu. For example if Amanda is selected in question 1, an email of the report for this submission should be sent to Amanda. There could be up to 10 different names in that dropdown menu to whom the email could go to based on the item selected but it is only one recipient per selection and only one option can be selected per survey.I'm not finding any way to do this on the front end so I was wondering if it was possible to make this happen by adding Javascript to the question itself. Subtractive Scoring of Question Responses

I'm trying to create an interaction within a question that would score the question based on how many times it takes for the user to select the "correct" answer. I've set the item scores so the correct answer is 5 and the incorrect answers are -1. I just cannot figure out how to code the question so the users score would reflect the number of times it took for the user to reach the correct. Example: First response incorrect = -1; second response incorrect = -1; third response correct = 5 - (incorrect response 1 + incorrect response 2). Does that make sense? I'm honestly not the best at coding. I know the logic (at least how I'm thinking about it), but not how to make it happen from a code perspective. Thank you for your time, Amanda
