Does anyone know of some javascript that will either widen the text area or turn off wrapping for statements on slider/star question types? On that note, I'm somewhat of a newbie at custom coding, I'd also really appreciate some instruction on where to put the code in the "edit question javascript" box. 😀 Thanks!
We're using a matrix constant sum survey question to have respondents record a count each day for 1 month. Each column is a day of the week (Sun-Sat), but the first of the month is on a Wed so we don't want respondents to enter counts in the boxes for Sun-Tue of that first week. Validations prevent me from setting up a default answer of "X" in these 3 boxes. Is some kind of JS I can add that will allow me to gray just those 3 boxes out, and maybe prevent data entry?
Does anyone know when the functionality to update embedded data in a contact list using an action will be fixed? I know there's a trigger function that works in a similar fashion, but I don't want to spend a lot of time creating a solution using a function that's going away in a couple weeks.
Is anyone else recently started having problems refreshing their web data connections from Tableau to Qualtrics??? Last week we discovered that every one of my team's workbooks with an existing web data connector can no longer connect to the data. We're getting the error "Failed to get survey responses from Qualtrics. Unable to create extract". Nothing has changed on our end or with the surveys. We can get past the step of logging into Qualtrics when refreshing the connection, but the errors come afterwards. We have a ticket open with Tableau and Qualtrics support was no help. I was able to confirm someone else in our firm has a Tableau workbook with WDCs to Qualtrics and it works fine.
I need an automated solution that will update a drop down list. Possibly from an Excel file or a contact list. I'm open to other ideas as well. However, I don't have the option to use a third party tool unless it's already behind our firewall. So that limits my options a bit. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
I've read through every post on this topic but I still can't seem to get this to work. I want to capture an answer from a matrix dropdown list into embedded data. Then I want to show that response in a matrix text box in a later block. However, we're also giving the respondent the option to go back and change their answer. I've tried this without JS by setting the answer as embedded in the survey flow, then piping it in the other block. But when the respondent goes back to change their answer, the piped answer doesn't update in the other block. So I'm trying to use JS to capture the answer, but the answer is not capturing. I have this code in question JS: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData('User_answer', currentResponse); Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.getEmbeddedData('User_answer'); Then I added 'User_answer' as an embedded data element at the very top of my survey flow. What am I missing?
I'm trying to create a survey import template (.txt) that we can quickly edit then load to improve survey development turnaround time. I'd like to include things like library questions, authenticators, formatting, etc. I was thinking I could just export one of our existing surveys to use as a starting point.
What's the complete CSS code to widen statements on matrix questions?
I'm looking for the following solutions: 1. Is there a way to add custom java to add the current (dynamic) date in a report header in Advance Reports? 2. Add piped text that is filtered by specific criteria. In this case, my survey collects feedback for various individuals in my organization. So this report has a section for each individual and their feedback. I'd like to include a response count in each section for that individual. Since we can't edit or remove column headers in tables, this option is not very attractive.
Is there a way to display blocks in a specific order depending on country from embedded data?
Does anyone know how to add some type of dynamic filtering to a data table in the new Advanced Reporting
