I am running into the same issue but I believe this is not possible if I am reading this help page correctly.
I currently manually create multiple customer contact list's each week for our CX survey. I then adjust my email automations to the new correct contact lists for that week. Every week when they run they will also create sample lists but I have never found a setting to turn this off as we do not need them nor use them.
Hello MatthewM I am referring to the sample list of contacts created from the larger list every time the larger list is surveyed.
You should be able to use scoring for each question/answer and then use branch logic from those results
Newbie here as well and I have a similar experience. I tried to search just for users with a specific last name and it still returns all users.
I ran into this issue within a dashboard but ended up creating a custom metric that had filters applied to the variables to include only our available options. This way it would not include anyone who bypassed the question or choose "n/a" in the count. It sounds like you are working in the Stats iQ section though which I am not too savvy in yet so I will be watching this thread for answers.
