For example, my zip code field is a text field. @cristenrh I understand your frustration. I never could get this pop-over to work correctly. I was working with Qualtrics Support and demonstrated to them that the JavaScript was not working as expected. I never did get a consistently functional solution from them. Instead of helping me resolve the issue, they suggested that I use the Feedback Tab. The rest of my design uses popovers, however, so that didn't work for me. I gave up and used 3rd party pop-over functionality from the Zurb Foundation Framework. I use the Zurb popover with a Qualtrics iframe. You can see it if you click my "feedback" in the top black and white menu here: https://deq.utah.gov/. If you view source, that button is on about line 345. NOTE: I ran out of time for troubleshooting why the popover wouldn't work. I don't know if there was a maybe a conflict with my site JavaScript. The browser inspector wasn't returning errors, though.

I had the same question. By adapting the info TomG sent, I was able to change all of my textarea default text with a jQuery loop in the theme footer like this. Since I have a TOC button in the #Buttons div (called #JumpButton), this works, but it's sloppy. The next question flashes on the screen briefly before the TOC appears. I need something more elegant. Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnUnload(function() { jQuery("#JumpButton").click(); });
Found the article. This code adds a test button. The value attribute is what displays as the button's text. @Mohammedali_Rajapakar_Ugam Thank you. That works. In my case, I want to hide my button from any blocks that aren't part of the Table of Contents. Your jQuery link with the BlockID will always be true when the Table of Contents is available, so this also works: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { if (jQuery("a[id='BlockID']").length > 0) //where BlockID == any block in the TOC { jQuery('#ButtonID').css("display","block") //by default my CSS hides the button. This will show it on TOC pages } });
I'm using BlockID in some jQuery that Mohammedali_Rajapakar_Ugam wrote. I found my BlockID by building a Table of Contents and then inspecting the jump link. In this screenshot, the ID is "FL_5" and is found in the parent `<a>`. I don't think this is exactly what you're asking, but I hope it helps. !

My users need to be able to move forward and backward to different blocks. Using a Table of Contents makes that possible. Would that work for you?

@PraDeepKotian_Ugam Forgive my ignorance. I have popovers working on my site and they are even working on buttons. The problem is that the Qualtrics popover only works one time or not at all. I'm trying to figure out how to make it work consistently, the way the feedback tab does. Earlier in this post, AnthonyR suggested using Tabs Creatives. Those work consistently, but I want to use Popovers.
I got the tabs working, but still would prefer using a PopOver. One reason I want to do this is that my theme has its own feedback button. I'd prefer to use that over the Qualtrics tab button.
@AnthonyR Thank you for testing. Maybe I do want a tab. I'm a noob and this is my first Qualtrics project. We use modals (popOver) for other utilities on our page. For consistency, I thought it would be nice to have the site feedback in a modal as well. This one I'm using is very slow, though, even though I've told it to pre-build. I'll look into using tabs.
@AnthonyR Here is a test page. The dark blue button that says "Qualtrics Test" should open the pop over, though I notice some delay. If I close the pop over, I can't reopen unless I refresh the page. Oh. Duh. I think I have both issues solved. * There is an "Embed Intercept's Target" button in the Creative Builder tools. * I can go to Action > Set Advanced Options > Trigger on click and then use my HTML button ID as the trigger.
