To give back to the community, I wanted to post the solution to my own problem. @TomG I’ve added the ddAutoComplete function to the OnLoad for the question. This is what I’m seeing. It’s not automatically showing the email address.

@TomG ,ddAutoComplete is very nice but isn’t completely meeting the need for this purpose. Here’s an example of what the options look like in the Drill Down.Group 1Options: Brown, Jefferson, SmithGroup 2 Options (with Brown selected): brown@service.comGroup 3 Options (for Brown): January 1 at 6pm OR January 1 at 7:30pmGroup 4 Option (if Jan 1 at 6pm selected): User 1Group 5 Option (for User 1): user1@service.com ddAutoComplete is working for the Group 1 and Group 2 interaction, but not working for the relationship between Group 3, 4, and 5.Essentially ddAutoComplete is producing the same result asjQuery(sel1).on('change', function()    sel2.options[1].selected = true;with the exception that it does allow the user to continue through the selections for Groups 3 - 5, which the code I have does not. So, that’s a move in the right direction but it doesn’t provide a complete solution.Thoughts?

Identifying ID of response option

Thank you @ManfredBM . That is definitely easier than using piped text, but unfortunately still does not solve my problem.  Despite having the correct IDs, the code still won’t work in my new question.If I understand code correctly, var sel3 and var sel4 could easily read var borg1 or var borg2 or var thing1 or var thing2. As long as I consistently call the variable the code should work. Thus, I’m confused as to why the code is not working in the second question while it is working in the first question.

Thank you CarolK. The Add Display Logic option won't work because the list would be hundreds of entries which would be too many options at one time to skim through. I'll check the Product Ideas section.

Is it possible to use window.location.href? Subtractive Scoring of Question Responses

Thank you, Shashi. I understand how to set a score for each answer option. My issue is how to code the question to calculate the score I'm looking for. I'm trying to emulate an experience that occurs in Team Based Learning where students use scratch cards to answer multiple choice questions. If the students scratch the correct answer first they receive full points (5). If the students miss the answer the first time, they can keep scratching until they receive the correct answer. The score is then based on how many items they had to scratch off before they received the correct answer. Thus my example in my initial question.
