Referencing the stylesheet via embedded data based on the "stylesheet" field (${e://Field/stylesheet} or whatever it is for contact list fields) in the header? Like below but the field is for the stylesheet instead of email: !

Matrix Table selected choice into piped text?

@BethG You can set up the follow-up question in a Loop and Merge block. The block would loop based on "Selected Choices - Scale Point 5 - Selected Choices" from your matrix question. You can select all the "5" selections or a subset. You can then reference the choice text via Loop and Merge field: !

clearing responses in repeated block elements

@mxwx Duplicating a block in Survey Flow doesn't make a "fresh" copy of the questions -- it'll repeat the same thing they saw before. You'll want new/separate questions for the second round of 20. You can use Carry Forward and/or Loop and Merge to make this a bit more convenient.

How can I display the overall mean and mode/frequency for each multiple choice question in a survey?

@saraht If you don't have too many choices/values to work with, you could use quotas + a little bit of Javascript: Set quotas to increment for each choice/value for your question. Set their action to do nothing (only increment): ! Quotas Counts can be piped in, which we'll use later for the math: ! Capture the current respondent's answer in Embedded Data between two blocks (one holds the question, the next reveals the average) ! Put something like this in the HTML editor for the question, replacing a) the quota fields ```${qo://QO...}``` with relevant ones from your survey b) the message you want c) appropriate formulas based on the quota counts and answer choice values. It'll do the math when the page loads and populate `<span id='mean'></span>`. You'll probably want logic to exclude this calculation/show a different message for the first few respondents to give the quotas time to fill up. ```html here's the mean: <span id="mean"></span> <script>

How to Provide Code at End of Survey?

Can you control the drink codes? You could display the ResponseID embedded data field to users in the end of survey message (${e://Field/ResponseID) and have them redeem that for the drink. https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-flow/standard-elements/embedded-data/ Alternatively, you can set a quota for the number of codes you have available. When someone finishes the survey, they'll increment that quota. Display correct answers on randomized survey?

Does the Scoring feature suit your purposes? You can set it to show correct answers after each question and/or summarize them all at the end of the survey. You could customize the end of survey message to include explanations for the correct answers if you wanted. One quirk I did notice is that if you change anything about the question choices, you have to re-do the scoring. ! * ! * !

Is there a way to pipe the median answer to a rank order survey?

Looks like Carry Forward Choices lets you use logic based on "Items Responses" -- so the set up below will display the 3rd-ranked thing from Q1. Kind of hacky, but you could use this as a question that doesn't require response to display what you want (assuming the median position will be known in advance for you to specify in the UI logic). ! !

Selectin one question from 7 blocks w/o repeats

Why do you need 7 identical blocks? If there is some variation in the language or stimulus but they're otherwise asking the same thing, I'd offload some of the parameterization to Embedded Data/Survey Flow logic and then pipe whatever you need into a single block, where you can display a random and unique subset of your 24 questions.

How to display images in a randomized order, within one question?

You can use some CSS to re-style/un-style that divider. e.g. in the question HTML editor: `<style>.QuestionBody{display:none}</style>` removes the bulk of the space. Looks like there is also some `padding-bottom` depending on what theme you're using, which you can override as well. Alternatively you could try formatting them as multiple choice entries and then hide the radio buttons using CSS.

Problem with chrome (with safari everything ok)

Hard to diagnose without seeing the whole project, but my first guess is maybe you have "Save and Continue" checked in the Survey Options, so when you try to preview, it kicks you back to where you left off: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-options/survey-experience/ I'd try unchecking that box and/or make sure you preview each version in a fresh browser session/Incognito window.

It sounds like you pasted all of the code from the first snippet at the URL, which is HTML (it has the <>) and not pure JavaScript. You would want to put the first line in the header of your survey (the source editor, not the WYSIWIG editor): ``` <script src="https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?render=_reCAPTCHA_site_key"></script> ``` And then only this part on the question-level "Add Javascript" where you want it to appear. I am assuming you already have the requisite site key and token -- it won't work otherwise. ``` grecaptcha.ready(function() { grecaptcha.execute('_reCAPTCHA_site_key_', {action: 'homepage'}).then(function(token) { ... }); }); ```

Are you trying to: 1. Display the 10 images in random order to each participant? 2. Display 1 of 10 images at random to each participant? Either way, you could use Choice Randomization to display all or a subset of your images as answer choices that require no response. Or Question Randomization to randomize Descriptive text blocks that contain your image. If you have the same set of follow up questions for each image, you might consider Block Randomizer or Loop and Merge logic.

You could use the Matrix Table - Text Entry variant set up like this: ! Which would get you something like this (set up each row as a different question) ! For the equations, I'd use a fixed width font to keep alignment straight, e.g: ``` <span style="font-family:Courier New,Courier,monospace;">  5<br />x 8<hr></span> ``` !

Is there a way to add an "Exit Survey" button that would always be visible?

Partial Response saving/deletion settings are at the bottom of the Survey Options modal -- so you could set it to be un-restartable with the Save/Continue checkbox and then decide if you want to delete or record partial responses after some time period of inactivity. It's two settings in the same menu.

Drive Validation off of Total in Constant Sum

Can you use Custom Validation? It lets you use greater than/less than/etc logic: https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/editing-questions/validation/#CustomValidation So you could set the validation for each product field to "(If x>= 12 AND x<=48) OR (x=0)" (would use multiple logic sets)

Also, for visual debugging, you could make the footer include the ED code as well, so all together: ``` <button onclick=Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.setEmbeddedData( 'escapeButtonClicked', 1)">escape!</button> Button clicked: ${e://Field/escapeButtonClicked} ``` Then, as you go page to page, you'll see a 1 once the escape button is clicked.

Re: picking up where they left off, you could disable that in Survey Options (if it's not a mailer survey): https://www.qualtrics.com/support/survey-platform/survey-module/survey-options/partial-completion/#SavingSurveyProgress Re: #2, you can actually use the UI Embedded Data -- it'll depend on your flow where to insert it. It's admittedly a bit clunky depending on how many pages/blocks your survey has since you'd need to tell it, "Before each page, determine if the escape button was clicked". Here's a simple/dumb example: !
