Hi friends! I am reaching out for some support related to custom formatting for the Pick, Group, and Rank questions, specifically when using the drag and drop functionality. I've seen a bunch of posts in the forums that are similar, but my expertise with CSS is admittedly very limited so I'll need a little more hand-holding here. As you can see from the attached picture, I've been able to get some of what I want done, but I've mostly broken it and made it worse. ! I'm trying to figure out which attributes will affect the blue line (bucket width), red line (I'm calling it "bucket text width"), and the green line (space between buckets). I was also unsuccessful in changing the font attributes at all, so would love help there (especially in overriding the theme that we'll be using for this specific question, if that's possible). I'm specifically hoping to change font weight, type, and size. It'd be especially great if I could change part of the bucket text, but not all of it (so in the
Is there a difference between an email trigger and an email task set up in the actions tab? Are their certain situations when one is preferable to another?
We have two questions where we have entered the following javascript. We want the respondent to be able to pick the opening time in question one and the closing time in question two.....however when the data is entered the opening time is recorded for both question 1 and question 2. thoughts? Javascript: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page loads*/ }); Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnReady(function() { /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page is fully displayed*/ var Qbd = "input[id='QR~"+this.questionId+"']"; jQuery("#" + this.questionId + " .InputText").hide(); jQuery("#appt-time").on(" change", function() { jQuery(Qbd).val(jQuery("#appt-time").val()) ; }); }); Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnUnload(function() { /*Place your JavaScript here to run when the page is unloaded*/ });
Hi there, I have included Facebook login Javascript SDK to create a social login button and display participants' Facebook user picture in Qualtrics. One problem I am facing is that displaying the user picture works fine the very first time I want to show it, but not anymore on follow up pages (i.e. after clicking the next button). The same applies to the social login button, but I only need that to show that once anyway, so that's not really a problem. I've tried simply copying the Javascript code to the question where I also want to show the user picture, as well as adding it to the header in the look&feel, but I cannot get it to work. It works fine for the first question I use it in (regardless of where in the survey it is), but not for any follow-up questions. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks! Here's the code I used: Qualtrics.SurveyEngine.addOnload(function() { // This is called with the results from from FB.getLoginStatus(). function statusChangeCallback(re
Hi, I have developed a survey for the purpose of data collection within the context of occupational-health research. Due to the complexity of occupational histories of the potential participants, the survey is made up of 180+ questions across 27 blocks (however each participant may only view a small proportion of these question based on previous responses). The questionnaire works well by extensive use of display and branch logic, carry forward statements and scale points, and piped text. The problem arises when it comes time to include a copy of the questionnaire in the appendix of an upcoming report or research publication. The 'Export Survey to Word...' leaves produces a long document which includes piped text for most of the answers - this doesn't mean much to be understood for the Qualtrics-naive reader. Is there a more effective way to export or display my questionnaire for this purpose without leading to unnecessary confusion? Thanks, Rex
We would like to encourage survey respondents to share their experience with our brand on their favorite social platform (Instagram, Facebook or Twitter) with pre-populated hashtags. What are some options and best practices? Is there a way to create hashtags automatically from survey data? (i.e. if we receive a 5-star rating we create a #happycustomer tag)
For some reason I can't get info into my Develop Sandbox. I keep getting the same Debug error: _"Entity type cannot be inserted: Survey Response(CANNOT_INSERT_UPDATE_ACTIVATE_ENTITY)"_ It doesn't appear to be about permissions or field permissions; I can log in and manually create the object just fine. Any troubleshooting ideas?
