Is there a way to trigger an email workflow or other notification whenever a new unique value is submitted for a specific survey field? In this case, client encounters are labeled with an ID that has usually already been used in a past encounter, but we want to know whenever a new client ID is entered.
I can understand why it's not a standard function for privacy considerations, but does anyone know of a workaround to allow the participant the option of having a copy of their response summary emailed to them? I would look into JavaScripted solutions, but the response summary is one of the few elements that isn't really built into the web editor (would be nice), so I wouldn't know where to even start.
Is there a way to customize the variable names for calculated scores like we can for survey questions? It looks like they're just added to the database sequentially as "SC0", "SC1", "SC2", etc., but it would be helpful if those were customizable. I know the variable label is included as the name of the score--just wondering if the variable name itself can be modified.
I need to set up a slider type question to look roughly like this:I've spent a few hours trying to do this a myriad of different ways, but with no good solution that would work well on both desktop and mobile. The latest attempt was to create a carefully measured custom image for each label, but for some reason it automatically shrinks the two on the ends (Terrible and Excellent) so they're barely readable anymore:If I substitute those two endpoint labels as text only, the labels are no longer centered on the scale points. The sizing varies wildly between the desktop and mobile versions (if in portrait mode), but that could be avoided by instructing users to switch to landscape:Am I missing anything that others would do to try to replicate the original scale in the first image?
We are planning on using the custom end of survey setting "Do NOT record survey response (not recommended)" on purpose for an optional supplemental suicide prevention/safety planning module we want to give participants the option of completing. Since the information they provide is very sensitive and not needed as data, we do not need to save any of the responses. This may be asking too much with this setting, but is there a way to ONLY see how many people a) opened the module/survey (via link from the end of the "main" survey) and/or b) completed the module/survey. So we're only interested in these two pieces of metadata, if possible.
Is there any workaround to create a "soft" validation, analogous to the request response feature? I'd like to run a custom validation and display an error message if not passed, but without preventing the user from continuing on if they have reviewed the item and found it to be accurate.
I want to underscore some subtle differences between entries in the loop and merge fields table, but there's no rich text option that I can find. I also tried manually adding html tags, but those were ignored.
I'm setting up a survey with many referral chains, and we don't want any of the numeric referral codes to be used more than twice (i.e., each person can refer 10 people, but only up to 2 are allowed to take the survey).I'm hoping to be able to limit this using quotas, but the only way I can picture it happening at the moment is if I set up a separate quota for each of the several thousand referral codes (e.g., Quota of 2 for Referral Code = 123; Quota of 2 for Referral Code = 456...). My institution doesn't appear to have access to "Create Multiple Quotas" in case that's what would save me the time. Any ideas or work-arounds?
